Christmas appointments are now very much on my radar.

November and December are always the time when everyone suddenly remembers:
“I need my lashes done.”
“My nails need doing.”
“I've got the work Christmas party.”
“I've got photos.”
“I need my brows sorted.”

And somehow everybody needs the same few appointments.

If you already know you've got a Christmas party, dinner, night out or family event coming up, please don't wait until December to book.

Self-care doesn't have to mean bubble baths, yoga retreats or having your life completely organised.

Sometimes it's simply an hour where nobody needs anything from you.

A treatment isn't a replacement for proper mental health support, but having time to stop, switch off and be looked after can still matter.

So on World Mental Health Day, this is your reminder that looking after yourself doesn't always have to be productive.

I'm Jo, and Everlasting Beauty by Jo is my home-based beauty and aesthetics studio in Hellesdon.

I offer everything from lashes, brows and nails to skin treatments including dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and HIFU.

What matters most to me is that treatments still feel like you. Just fresher, brighter, more confident and with a little bit of time that's entirely yours.
