Weight loss can have many positive effects, but one common concern is the loss of facial volume.

As we lose weight, the fat pads in the face can also reduce in size, particularly through the cheeks. This can leave the face looking more hollow, flat, and sometimes more tired than we feel.

Here we used dermal filler placed with a cannula technique to carefully restore lost volume through the cheeks. The aim wasn’t to create larger cheeks, but to replace the volume that had been lost, restoring soft contours, support, and a more refreshed appearance.
