So, coming from a natural perfectionist.. just know my thunder is ruined sometimes.

Watching these videos, you don’t really have any idea about whether my clients receive a decent wax, whether they get home and realise I’ve left a whole bunch of hair.

The truth is that I spend TOO much time, making sure I get every last hair when in reality, this isn’t always possible. Perfectionism is unrealistic at it’s finest.

A few reasons why you may leave the waxing room prickly-

1. Your last form of hair removal was shaving, trimming or using hair removal creams.

2. This is only your first, second or third wax.

3. You didn’t exfoliate and/or moisturise enough (doing this once or twice before your appointment does not count).

4. You wear tight clothing whilst you do activities that cause friction and therefore, breakage of the hairs. This could be more likely to happen, if the skin/ hair is dry and there’s a build up of dead skin.

5. You didn’t shave in between, but you waited too long between wax appointments.

Look, I understand I’m a business woman and I should let bygones be bygones with hairs that are just too short to remove or stuck under a layer or two of skin, to allow extra time for another client or two in the day, I really do get it. I’m learning 🤣

Just do me, yourself and your skin a favour and follow aftercare pls. The rest is inevitable and we shall have to trust the process 🤎

✨ IT’S A MATURITY THING ✨

If you can even class me as “mature” 🤣

As much as my client is right, it IS a maturity thing, what I meant was that I’m not looking at vulvas and losing my ability to act normal, like it’s the most exciting or gross thing I’ve ever seen. I’m looking at the direction your hair grows and where I can lay a strip. The rest doesn’t bother me and I don’t give it a thought.

You’re looking at a woman who could AND HAS spent hours and hours, nipping at crusty cuticles, digging for spots and blackheads, ingrown hairs, ear wax, ingrown toenails, you name it.

Who knows.. if “gross” things aren’t gross to you, chances are, you could really enjoy not only being a waxer but also being the kind of person that clients need, to feel comfortable with. I’m just saying 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anywho.. another brain fart moment for you all, that cracked me up so hard watching it back, I almost peed.

For reference.. I actually use “talcum-free powder”, I just can’t get used to not calling it talc, clearly 🫠

✨ THE N**E LOOK REVIEW ✨

Ok, this is one for my fellow waxers!

I don’t want to make a habit out of this type of content because it’s not what my page is about, but I just wanted to make sure that this woman gets the credit she deserves.

The notes I wrote, trying the wax for the first time on myself are as follows:

AMAZING colour
AMAZING consistency, without feeling too hot
AMAZING dry time
AMAZING removal of hair
AMAZING flexibility even well after setting
ZERO snapping

Absolutely buzzing and so grateful that Amber found me and asked me to try her wax. I did indeed, use it at my pop up in Essex yesterday and considering I didn’t bring my tweezers, barely anyone left with leftover hair! I’m still so impressed she smashed it, first try 😅

I was also trialling another wax at the same time and I’ve been loving the waxes I already use, however, they set a little slower than this one so whilst body temperatures are warm, this wax has been a life saver!

Amber, I’m so proud of you. Many people heard me talk of you at The Gathering this weekend and I really hope they try your wax and are just as impressed as me 🤎

Ok, I know I’m meant to be pro waxing but..

I was absolutely flabbergasted at this client’s results after 10 laser hair removal sessions 🤣 I was NOT expecting that!

✨ 100 MILES FOR A WAX ✨

This lovely woman came in for a wax, on her way back from a little trip to Cromer but her initial plan was to drive about 100 miles to come to see me, before she saw a spot available on the day she leaves, to go back home 🤯

Honestly, mind blown!

What a privilege it is, to be a safe space 🤎

✨ JUST PURE BRAIN FARTS ✨

I was editing a video and couldn’t help but notice the amount of brain farts I had with just ONE client, so I thought you might as well see what you’re in for, if you’re gonna come and see me.

I grew up thinking I was stupid for not always being able to think on the spot, some people even told me I was. The thing is.. I know I’m not and the people who really know me, would tell you the same. Not someone I’ve only spent half an hour with. Someone I’ve given advice/ helped/ educated and had a deep conversation with. Someone I’ve really spent some time with. If you put me on the spot, my brain goes blank but sometimes words will still come out. An hour or three after, all the information has been reloaded and now I have anxiety because I had all the answers and now someone thinks I’m stupid.

I’m at the point where I’ve been in the studio, fully booked, for 6 months (imagine how many people I’ve had in!) and the first 3 or 4 months, I spent with what I can only explain as “beer fear” after so many clients left the room and I thought to myself “what the f**karooni was that, Kerry?” and now.. well, I just don’t care as much. This room is mine, this business is mine and you all come to see me for reasons that trump my questionable behaviours 🙃

I really am so grateful for those who support my business, talk about my business and who interact with the videos. You guys have changed my life. Thank you so much 🤎

✨ WHICH WAX/ES DO I USE? ✨

I get this question a LOT.

I remember when I first started.. thinking “surely I could just skip spending hundreds on loads of different brands and just do my research?”. Sounds like a bright idea, doesn’t it.

Unfortunately not always the case.

I got into the waxing scroll hole for more days and hours of my life than I care to admit and I STILL spent hundreds on waxes that didn’t work out for me. It doesn’t mean they’re all crap- I see some creators using certain waxes all day long, even though I didn’t see good results with them, personally.

Just before it was time for me to move to the studio, I found Black Coral and in pure honestly, it changed everything for me. In full transparency, this company does not pay me but they do send me a few bags of wax each month, regardless of the fact that I refused to be an ambassador (four letters- ADHD. If you know, you know), to, I guess, thank me for my support and I’m so, so grateful. As much as their waxes changed the game for me, I feel it’s only right to sing their praises to thank THEM. Again.. they may not be for everyone.

Currently.. the ONLY waxes I’d happily fill my pot up with are MaeMae, Kai, Plumeria or White Coral from , wax or wax. That’s it, quite honestly. I’ve never seen such amazing results with any other hard waxes.

As for pre and post wax products.. these change constantly because I like too many 🤣
