Well, I learnt something about skincare today! 👀
Hyaluronic acid can be sourced from rooster combs — the red crest on a chicken’s head. It can also be made through fermentation, so it isn’t always animal-derived 😥.
Tropic’s hyaluronic acid is vegan, and their products are certified vegan and cruelty-free.
No animal-derived ingredients or animal testing 💚
That’s something I really value - looking after our skin while being thoughtful about animals too 🐇🐥
Did you know ingredients with the same name can come from very different sources?
I certainly hadn’t given this one much thought! 🤗

Apparently even my eyelashes have a skincare routine now 😂👀

I talk a lot about skincare, ingredients and the products I love, but this is something that's really important to me.
Seeing what is happening to our planet genuinely worries me.
I know changing my moisturiser isn't going to solve climate change, but I really do believe that the choices we make about what we buy, what we re-use and which businesses we support really can make a difference.
It's one of the reasons i'm very proud to be an Ambassador with Tropic.
