No curl is off-limits, anyone can wear any curl they like, including this beautiful D curl!

That said, it’s important to understand how different curls behave. Everyone’s natural lashes have their own natural curl. Some have curlier lashes, which are often better suited to D curl, while those with straighter lashes may find that C curl holds more effectively. Matching the extension curl to the natural curl of your eyelashes helps create a stronger bond to the natural lash because it’s following the natural contour of the lash.

D curls have a deeper curve, which can offer a smaller surface area for attachment on straighter lashes i.e. less of the extension’s base actually lies flush against the natural lash.

For this reason I love using flat lashes. They have a wider, flattened base with a shallow ‘dip’ where the natural lash will secure in between. This means you will have great retention regardless of the curl 💕💕💕

If someone had became a lash hater, this is the set I would do to change their mind. This style follows a natural eye shape (not cat eye / open eye) which gives a really soft, effortless finish. It’s modified in areas to the placement of your natural eyelashes and eye shape and we used shorter lengths (9mm-12mm for this set) which makes it low maintenance and really easy to manage.

I’ve put a lash map for natural eye shape on the second slide, and while lash maps are useful, lashes are all about tailoring to the person. One size doesn’t fit all. Where I’ve put 10mm at the very end is honestly maybe 1 or 2 eyelashes, and near the beginning at 11mm it’s mixed with 10s and 12s. Some eyelashes are longer / shorter than others, and it’s always best to alter sets to ensure comfort

I talk about this a lot on here because I think it’s not taught enough and with cat eye being the most popular style, traditional lashes have been lost in the crowd. Comfort and adaptability is key to a perfect set! :)

Also LOL at the last slide 🤣🤣🤣❤️ I couldn’t help but do a photoshoot for these, what a natural beauty (the lashes and her)🤪
