Makeup is powerful...
But it's not magic.
My job as your bridal makeup artist is to enhance your features, not hide them or "fix" things that need love long before the wedding morning.
If you're sitting in my chair, here's what matters before the big day:
1️⃣Filter-perfect skin expectations
Real skin has texture.
Real skin has pores.
Real skin photographs beautifully when it's properly prepped.
2️⃣Eyebrow or facial grooming
Your wedding morning isn't the time for brow reshaping, waxing, dermaplaning or any kind of grooming.
Brows should be tidied a few days before so the skin is calm and makeup applies beautifully.
3️⃣Dehydrated skin
Water, nourishment and proper prep make all the difference.
Hydrated skin= smoother, fresher, more radiant makeup
4️⃣Lack of sleep
I can brighten. I can correct.
But nothing replaces proper rest.
Well-rested skin always wins.
5️⃣Last-minute facials or harsh scrubs
Your wedding week is not the time to experiment.
Fresh irritation will show through makeup - every time.
6️⃣Wanting to completely change your face shape
with contour
Makeup enhances. It doesn't turn you into someone else.
Your features are already beautiful.
7️⃣Dry, flaky or peeling skin
Makeup doesn't blur texture in real life. It can actually highlight it.That bridal glow? It starts with consistent skincare, not foundation.
8️⃣Dry or cracked lips
Beautiful lipstick starts with soft, hydrated lips.
Gentle exfoliation + balm in the weeks before = flawless finish.
