Well, me 🤪 It’s not everyday that I feel like dressing up. Anybody who knows me, knows I am the queen of mirror selfies 🫣 Whenever I dressed up(read: felt good about myself), I decided to film .. and I happened to like it! It’s been 2 months since I filmed this, going through brought up the things I felt while filming- the insecurities, “oh I look fat” “this dress doesn’t suit me” “my tummy shows”. Took the cone out after so long 🫠
I felt unmotivated for the longest time, didn’t want to do this.
But doing something after almost a year or two, I realised Mehendi gives me joy. It’s me , expressing myself . ❤️

Also, these are not designs which just popped in my head , I saw these online and really liked these 😍

I remember the exact moment I saw her as a bride... I mean, I can't describe the surge of emotions I felt.. Chaatu as a bride.. it all felt so surreal!!

Just kidding.. sometimes when my posts don’t get that reach , it gets to me.. or it got to me! So I stopped posting altogether.. but then I remembered it was never about numbers.. this page was opened for my love of Mehndi and my passion ❤️

Still feels surreal that she is married.. Mehndi day it was 😍💚 so many emotions.. so many things to write, but still feels like nothing will be enough..

I have waited soooooo long to post this❤️ waiting for the “perfect” timing but…. There is no perfect time now, is there?!

So here it goes.. literally a piece of my heart❤️ Anyone who knows me well, knows what the “girl” in the picture means to me.. and to do her Mehndi for her wedding… pheww .. I didn’t want to leave any stone unturned! And believe me when I say , I probably took my longest to finish this(chats, gossips,food, even naps in between 🤪) but even at 3 at night , I wasn’t tired at all!

There’ll be more posts about her Mehndi and all events eventually.. 😇😇❤️

Eid is near.. a few more days of Ramadan to go ..

Eid is always such a celebration to apply mehndi. I remember as kid I used to go to my ancestral home for Eid and all the local kids used to buy a cone and come to me for applying it on their hands.. Loved it then.. love it now 💞😇

Bridal mehndi - 08.03.2022😇

Funny story but then again I am grateful 💞😇

I had planned to come back to Kolkata in the last week of February. First .sabnam contacted me.. I asked her to confirm first as I had to postpone my tickets then.. she confirmed on that day itself. I postponed my tickets to 6th March. Then suddenly I got a call from an unknown number saying she liked my work and she really wishes that I do her engagement mehendi on 6th .. I was overwhelmed.😇 I cancelled my tickets altogether 🤭

The next morning Antara di contacted me and told me she would like to have her mehndi done on 8th.

So much love and trust and belief ... it's really more than I ever imagined..

P.S.- she's a pro photographer herself and she suggested I take some snaps like this. Though I am pretty sure these are below average. Golu da(her to-be-husband then) took some good ones though ❤️
