Sports Massage vs Deep Tissue — what’s the difference?

I often get asked what is the main differences between sport and deep tissue.

Sports Massage is more focused on specific muscles or problem areas, using more specialised techniques.

Deep Tissue is generally more of an all-over massage, using firmer pressure to help ease muscle tension and stiffness

A lovely evening spent helping a client unwind using RockPods – a modern form of cupping – focusing on the lumbar (lower back) and thoracic (mid-back) areas. This morning I had the pleasure of treating one of my lovely clients to a relaxing pregnancy massage. 💕 Pregnancy can bring its fair share of aches and pains, so it’s always lovely to be able to help someone relax, unwind and enjoy a little time just for themselves. 💜🤰

Who bought these then? It wasn’t me. 😱 As a sports massage therapist I should be promoting healthy living and eating… I better eat them before anyone is tempted. 😂

Had an amazing weekend at the 2 day no repeat Metallica concert on 3rd and 5th July at London Stadium! Enjoying a VIP experience with my son Ben. Both nights Tier 1, 3 rows from the front, doesn’t get much better than that. They were absolutely incredible. A huge shoutout to the hospitality team who really looked after us and made me feel special. A memory I will keep forever!!!! 😂
