This blonde journey hasn’t happened overnight.

We’ve spent a long time building trust, building confidence, and gradually taking her lighter to the point she truly wanted to be.

Every appointment we’ve taken another step.

Every appointment she’s become a little braver.

So imagine my surprise when we’d finished, taken these photos, admired her beautiful blonde… and she casually turned around and said:

“I think next time I might have some pink.”

PINK. 💗

The same client who once worried about going too blonde.

And that’s what confidence does.

When women start feeling good about themselves, they stop focusing on what could go wrong and start getting excited about what’s possible.

Now the question is…

Do we dare? ✨

Over the years we’ve experimented, evolved, gone lighter, darker, warmer, cooler, and everything in between.

The best part? There’s no fear.

Just trust.

Trust that together we’ll create something beautiful.

And honestly, that’s one of my favourite kinds of client relationships the ones where they sit in the chair excited for what’s next rather than asking for exactly the same thing every time.

Who knows where we’ll go next… but I know it’ll be gorgeous ✨

Watching people leave is hard.

Not because you’re not proud of them.

Because you are.

Sometimes unbelievably proud.

Sarah used to work alongside us and today she has built her own beautiful beauty business. Watching her grow, develop, and create something that’s hers has been incredible.

Of course I miss her.

I miss the chats.
I miss seeing her every day.
I miss having her as part of our team.

That’s the hardest part.

But what outweighs all of that is gratitude.

Gratitude that our paths crossed.
Gratitude for the time we spent working together.
Gratitude for the memories, the laughter, and the journey.

And thankfully, she’s never too far away. I still get to see her regularly and her gorgeous daughter, our beautiful little Lills, often helps us out on the salon floor. Most of you will have probably seen her 💕

So today isn’t a post about someone leaving.

It’s a post about being thankful for the people who become part of your story, even when their chapter takes them somewhere new.
