SPF should be worn every single day of the year to protect our skin from UVA (rays that age us) and UVB (rays that burn us) especially when having any kind of aesthetic treatments and using products like Vitamin C, Retinol and Tretinoin.
An SPF 50 is ideal and the two finger rule for application is recommended to insure the correct coverage and protection.

* The two finger rule:
Is a dermatologist recommended guideline.
To use it, squeeze two strips of sunscreen directly along the length of your index finger and middle finger (from the palm crease to the fingertips)
This amount is equal to about 1/4 teaspoon which is the correct amount to properly cover the face and neck.

The Obagi Blue Radiance Peel Before and immediately after.

I had two passes during my treatment.
The peel was applied to my face and neck for one Minute while Rachel assessed my skins reaction. She then applied another layer and left it on for a further 4 minutes. After this my face was cleansed and a super soothing and hydrating moisturiser was applied along with an SPF.
As you can see from the second photo. I look a little red, almost like I’ve been in the sun. This is normal and lasted around 30 mins but as explained in the previous post, for some patients it can last a few hours.
You can also see how much healthier my skin looks. Definitely smoother and brighter after just one treatment. Once the skin starts to shed and recover it will look even better.
