Just wanted to say thank you to those people that have donated to our Stroke pot. You have helped G and I to put together some gift packs for patients recovering from Strokes.
When I walked onto the ward today I was overcome by emotion and through my tears could see some of the people who are in the same situation my Mum was in only 6 years ago.
I feel so thankful that my mum pulled through and made a remarkable recovery and I know that with support, determination and love some of those on the ward today will too. The lovely ward manager showed me around the day room where the patients have treatment, socialize and will be receiving the gifts. There was a Velcro darts board, a piano, comfy seating and bright, cheerful pictures on the walls. It felt like a warm place where hopefully the patients experience some moments of happiness amid what I’m sure is one of the most difficult times in their lives.
The staff are going to update me with feedback of the patients response to the gifts, which hopefully I will share with you all soon. 🧡🧡

It takes guts to accept you have a problem. Believe me when I say I’ve been there and although the hardest bit is acceptance, it is worth going through the emotional turmoil to start the path to recovery.
If you recognize that someone may be suffering, please let them know they are not alone.

So for ten days we lived on a Maldivian Island in the middle of the Indian Ocean and although there was WiFi I decided to spend as little time on Social Media as possible.
I love sharing info, experiences and wellbeing top tips, but sometimes all we need is some time to regenerate. I’m not suggesting you have to jet off to an exotic island, but what I am saying is sometimes slow down, unwind, get out of the rat race and try new things.
Put your phones down.......after reading this of course! Take note of the beautiful things around you, spend quality time with your loved ones, talk, read, laugh, meet new people..........the list of possibilities is endless!

I love FB memories. So a year to the day Hubby finished his first C9, lost a substantial amount of weight, got his itchy skin under control and came off his Steroid inhaler. He kickstarted his fitness journey and apart from the odd setback has maintained better health for a whole year. Way to go a big G. I am incredibly proud of you.
If you know in your heart of hearts you are not in a great place physically or mentally then you need to do something about it. Don’t delay do something about it TODAY!
In the last year with the help of FLP products and ethos I’ve helped a number of people to feel better. It’s great to feel good, but it’s even greater to help someone else to feel good. If any of your loved ones need to improve their well-being why not get in touch and help them to transform their lives!
