Often new clients contact me as they’re going through a life change and feel as though their image could do with a reboot.
They may have been made redundant and are going for interviews, starting a new job or business, retiring or possibly looking for a new relationship after a divorce.
It’s not always easy to be objective about our own style especially after lockdown when everything has become more relaxed.
I’ll spend time with new clients discovering their needs along with likes/dislikes and lifestyle. This way we can build a wardrobe together that makes them feel comfortable and attractive whilst reflecting their own personality.
Some clients just want a Colour Analysis session to give them to their best shades for clothes, makeup, hair and accessories. Others want a package including Colour Analysis, Personal Style Session, Wardrobe Review and Personal Shopping trip. This can last up to six months giving support until my client feels established in their own fresh style.
If you’re going through changes and would like a chat just send me a DM and I’d love to hear from you,

I’m always inspired by the fashions in France and loved the shoe museum we visited in Romans sur Isere. The town was a centre for hand made shoes and the museum exhibits hundreds of shoes from throughout the ages.
The museum is housed in a old convent which is beautiful in its own right.
They had lots of giant shoes dotted around the town which was great fun.
I wouldn’t mind a pair of these animal print court shoes with giraffe’s legs!

What an amazing day we had in Paris on Wednesday! Took the TGV from Avignon to Paris then to Galleries Lafayette for lunch in the Panasia restaurant and of course to browse the beautiful clothes. Next we headed to the Musee Dorsay to see the incredible impressionist paintings - must return to see the Art Nouveau floor. Finally we headed back to the Gare de Lyon and queued for a drink at the fabulous Train Bleu with its fabulous art work on the walls and ceilings (for Emily in Paris fans that’s where Emily meets Gabriel for lunch). At 8.30pm it was back on the TGV to Avignon.
Thank you Paris for your energy and inspiration and big thank you to sister in law Sue and brother Mike for that wonderful surprise day!

21 years ago since that happy day! ❤️ Don’t know where the time has gone, we’ve had several new members join the family and sadly a few have now left.
Looking forward to celebrating later with tapas in town 🎉 xx

Does your make-up feel a bit like this, lacking in colour and inspiration?
Would you like suggestions for new colours with fresh ideas?
Since lockdown clients tell me that they prefer less make-up but still want to look well presented. Even if you don’t wear much makeup, knowing the shades that enhance your own features will help you to look brighter and more polished.
I offer an hour's online skincare and make-up review where we find suggestions to compliment your own routine and refresh your look.
If you’d like to know more just send me a DM and let's have a chat.

Had a great afternoon talking to Debbie’s team at Creame in Calverton yesterday about the power of Colour Analysis. Here’s Jess showing some of her individual fabulous colours!

There are so many shapes of jeans to choose from now. This means we can have a variety of shapes in our wardrobes which gives more scope for different outfits and looks.
I like straight, boot cut and wide although not too wide on the thighs.
What shapes do you prefer?

I’m always very pleased to help a client develop their professional image in a way that feels comfortable and authentic.
Often people in business will focus on their brand image and not remember that the way they present themselves is part of their brand. Their own image maybe the first impression a client receives so why not ensure that it’s the impression we want to give.
As we begin work together I get clients to think about what their brand states and how it can be incorporated into their wardrobe. Combining this with their own colouring, shape and style enables them to build a business wardrobe that looks authentic, comfortable and reflective of their brand.
This planned wardrobe then imparts consistency of message whilst incorporating variety of colours and style.
A planned and varied business wardrobe is also useful when considering a business photoshoot as the consistency will spread across all images.
If you’d like a chat about your business wardrobe just send me a DM.

On a miserable January day it’s uplifting to wear some colour like this fabulous green top and trousers from Danish brand Numph. The Scandinavians have a real eye for design and although I’ve only noticed Numph recently, it’s been around for twenty years.
Since lockdown most of my clients want to feel comfortable as they’re often working from home and the athlesure trend fits the bill perfectly. It’s smart casual and very easy to wear. A navy jersey blazer would smarten up those trousers for a meeting or alternatively a padded coat could be thrown on to collect the children.
Take a look at the brand in John Lewis and also their own shop online.

Don't we all love a bargain and there are certainly lots of sales around at the moment!
Sadly not everything is the shiny prize it appears to be. We may be lured into buying things that we won't wear and will just take up room in the wardrobe.
Having worked in fashion retail I've seen how it can be a way for stores to offload those items that have been in the warehouse for years or to sell cheaper quality items that have been especially purchased, all to make a profit from the customer.
When shopping in sales I offer clients a few tips to ensure that they bag a bargain and get real value for their hard earned cash:
1. Make a list of items that you need, that way you'll be less tempted to buy unnecessary products.
2. Consider whether the item will work with the rest of your wardrobe or will you need to buy another skirt or trousers to turn it into an outfit - therefore probably not a bargain!
3. January is a brilliant time to secure those larger items like a good quality handbag, coat and boots as the prices are often slashed by a huge percentage.
4. Do some research before shopping to check that the price is authentically reduced, you may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere.
5. Set a budget to not overspend and if you're buying on a credit card don't forget that the interest may outweigh the bargain!
6. Don't always buy immediately, go for a coffee and consider your purchase, it may make you reconsider.
7. Finally if you're ordering on-line check the postage and return costs as these can mount up, it's often cheaper to order into store therefore reducing these additions.
Happy bargain hunting and if you're not sure about an item feel free to send me a DM as clients often do and I'll give you my objective, professional opinion.
