“Colour theory is all about understanding undertones and using the colour wheel to neutralise unwanted warmth while still keeping the hair bright, clean and dimensional.
In this blonde, you can see soft yellow and warm gold tones showing through. To cancel that out, we use the opposite tones on the colour wheel — violet to neutralise yellow and blue-based tones to soften warmth.
The key is balance… because we didn’t just want to remove warmth, we also needed brightness and grey coverage. That means choosing the right tone combination to neutralise, brighten and blend seamlessly without the colour looking flat or dull.
The result? A clean, soft blonde with shine, dimension and natural-looking coverage.”
