Hello everyone and welcome back to our new adventure!!!

This time we are camping again but this time in York in a Camping and Caravan site in Sheriff Hutton!

We actually loved this site despite how busy it was for an April bank holiday, the facilities were great!

We did a lot on this trip, a day trip to York and Whitby bay and also Europe’s largest go outdoors! (Not good for the bank accounts!)

Every time we go camping we are always learning and wanting to improve our set up - and if you watched our previous video you will see we have improved so much already! And the hot weather was a big help this time!

HELLO EVERYONE!

So we are back finally with our first video of 2025.

We both had a few things going on in our personal lives that we needed to take time to sort out - but we are back and ready to go on our amazing adventures!

The first adventure of 2025 takes us to our the Peak District camping! We stayed at a site called Park Holidays - Newhaven. We did like the site and would be wanting to go back in the future!

We have a few more camping adventures planned and in the works - so this was a great trial and error run to learn what else we needed (i.e. a lot more hot water bottles!).

WE ARE BACK!!!

So so sorry we have been away for a long period of time. We have both had very busy hectic personal lives which had to take priority for sometime.

But now things have settled, we are back and ready to continue our amazing adventures!

So for the last few days we have been away camping in the Peak District! The Peak District is local to us and we love going on hikes and exploring new places and now the weather is getting a bit warmer (at least during the day!) we thought it the perfect time to go camping as well! We had a new tent we wanted to try (which we loved!)

The video will be coming soon but just thought we'd post a bit of an update!

Last night’s mini adventure was down to our local Christmas market - Nottingham!

We love going down every year to soak in the atmosphere and see what’s new. We personally think compared to other markets Nottingham is quite small as it is only based in Old Market Square but it does have a bit of everything in… food, drink, ice skating and cute little stalls!

This year we are venturing a bit further, out to York in a few weeks! Which we will be videoing so stay tuned for that one! But at the minute we’re in the middle of packing for a trip to Dublin!

Run Alton Towers 5km with me!

Hello everyone and welcome to this slightly shorter video! On Sunday 17th November 2024, we were at Alton Towers for their annual running festival! Chloe was running the 5km race with her mum so ran together.

If anyone has been to Alton Towers, you will know how hilly this part is, so the course was extremely hilly! There were parts that required a speed walk rather than a run but both Chloe and her mum got around the course in just over 46mins. Time was definitely spent getting selfies with the beefeaters and enjoying all the theming! Bluey was out in CBeebies land and the Phalanx operatives were out in Forbidden valley to welcome us and support us!

Chloe is currently training for the London Marathon next year so this was used as part of her training for the week.

We then got to stay and ride the rides after! We got on Rita, Spinball Whizzer, Wickerman and The Curse of Alton Towers. All of the rides were open apart from Thirteen and considering what we had heard recently about ride availability - pretty much most things were open!

The dreaded dark grey clouds brought rain and we decided to call it a day and go and get a well deserved pub roast before heading home.

It was an amazing day, and although the race got slightly chaotic at times on the course, the atmosphere was brilliant and Chloe is looking to go back and advance to the 10km race next year!

So yesterday Chloe and her mum took on the Alton Towers 5km!

It was a great day out and despite a little bit of rain at the start the sun came out to play for the run. It was a hilly course that got a bit chaotic with having the half marathon on at the same time but they made it round safely.

Corey and Chloe’s Nan joined them to be their support team!

We then enjoyed an amazing day riding the rides - all the queue times were under an hour!

A video will be up soon, everyone was very tired from a long fun day! But we will get it up as soon as we can!

OUTBREAK NOTTINGHAM

Hello everyone we are back! This time visiting OUTBREAK NOTTINGHAM!

This is a brand new scare attraction based in Nottingham City Centre and is in the James Alexander Warehouse. Originally owned by a rail company it then became a main hub for Boots (yes the highstreet shop) for research production. However it has been abandoned since 1995… until 2024!

There has been another chemical outbreak after a scientist experiment gone wrong at a secret test facility - but will you be able to escape the creatures that lie within or an encounter with the scientist himself!

We will say that we thoroughly enjoyed this maze considering it was the company’s first year. They have signed a 10 year deal so we are looking forward to seeing how much better this event gets.

The only down side to it was the surrounding attractions, there was a technical issue which prevented some of the main rides from being lit up and running, which was slightly disappointing as it would have added to the atmosphere.

All in all we enjoyed it and will be coming back again next year!

So today we went paintballing!

And what an experience that was! We was invited along by one of Corey’s friends and what a great couple of hours. We went to Adrenaline Jungle over in Bilsthorpe, Nottingham.

In the briefing we was told that the paintballs would reach a top speed of 100-120mph out of their guns… and they’ve left their mark on bodies at that rate.

We played a total of 4 games (but one of those was attack and defence so we switched sides so technically 5!). Despite being the only girl Chloe held her own and has the battle wounds to show for it!

It was a great day all in all, the maps/courses we got to play on were fantastic especially the churchyard one, we really enjoyed that!

A big thanks to Adrenaline Jungle for making it such a great day!

Today I went on a walk with mum, without Corey (he was busy at work) in the Shropshire hills. Hiking in nature is one of the best things and one of our favourite hobbies and great to share that with our families. I’ve managed to convince mum to buy walking boots and trousers and was thankful for them today!

It was also great to try our new camera. An investment but I think the photo’s speak for themselves! We have a couple of events lined up and can’t wait to take the camera with us to just up that quality for you all!

Twin lakes XTREME SCREAM 2024!

On 17th October we attended Xtreme Scream, a halloween fright night even hosted by Twin Lakes Family Theme Park over Melton Mowbray in Leicester. And this did not disappoint!!

All of theming was amazing from the entrance to the mazes and the actors 100% got us with the scares! It was such an amazing night - give the video a watch for our honest review and a look into this years line up of mazes!

Hello Eveyone!

Wow, this is such a scary thing but here goes nothing!

So we are Corey and Chloe. We are a couple based in the East Midlands who love to go on adventures and try new things, but we thought we would start documenting them for everyone else to join us.

So a bit about us, we absolutely love hiking and camping in the peak district, especially on a nice day!

We both love travelling and are currently looking forward to our trip to Dublin in November (which we will be vlogging so watch out for those!).

We both play rugby for our local rugby club, and if we're not hiking in the peaks or away or working - that's usually where you'll find us!

This is so new to both of us, so please bare with us as we're new to the vlogging game! But we can't wait to share our adventures with you!
