When anti-wrinkle treatment doesn’t follow the textbook… 👀

These before and afters are a result I’m incredibly proud of.

Over the last few years, this has been one of the most challenging anti-wrinkle treatment journeys I’ve experienced in over 8 years of practice. We’ve tried different botulinum toxin brands, adjusted techniques, refined injection patterns, and carefully reviewed doses. Despite everything, the treatment either wore off too quickly, didn’t take evenly, or simply didn’t respond as expected. Some clients are just beautifully unique!

Rather than accepting a less-than-ideal result, I continued to assess, adapt and treat safely. By using my clinical experience and gradually increasing the dose well beyond what many clients would typically require (while staying within safe prescribing practice), we’ve finally achieved the smooth, balanced result we’d been working towards.

This is a great reminder that aesthetics isn’t about a “one size fits all” approach. Every face responds differently, and sometimes the best results come from patience, experience, and tailoring treatment to the individual.

I’m absolutely delighted for my client, and even more pleased that we never gave up. 💉✨

🤍 A little update from me…

As many of you know, I’m expecting my little one this autumn, so it’s time to start planning ahead! 🍼✨

To make sure everyone has the opportunity to book before I go on maternity leave, here are my key dates:

📅 Last treatment appointments: Saturday 26th September (excluding Tox)
💉 Last anti-wrinkle appointment: Saturday 12th September (this allows time for your 2-week review if needed before I finish).

I’ll also be returning for a limited number of appointments around Black Friday (dates to be confirmed), before coming back as normal in February (although my clinic days and hours may be slightly different initially).

If you’ve been thinking about booking, especially for anti-wrinkle treatments before the festive season, I’d really recommend getting your appointments booked in early to avoid disappointment. 💕

✨ Botulinum Toxin: More than just “Botox” ✨

I wanted to create this infographic to help explain exactly what botulinum toxin is, how it works, why it’s a prescription-only medicine, and the importance of choosing a qualified medical professional.

As an Independent Nurse Prescriber, every treatment I provide begins with a full medical consultation to ensure it’s safe and appropriate for you. Patient safety will always come before social media. 🤍

One question I’m often asked is…

“Why don’t you post many before & after photos?”

The simple answer is that botulinum toxin doesn’t work instantly. It can take up to 14 days to reach its full effect, and unlike filler treatments, many clients don’t routinely return for a review appointment once their treatment has settled.

Because of this, I don’t always have the opportunity to capture consistent “after” photographs—and I would never ask clients to make a special trip just for social media.

I’d rather focus on providing safe, ethical, evidence-based treatments than creating content.

✨ A Little Update ✨

To all of my lovely clients, I just wanted to explain the reason behind my updated consultation and deposit policy.

Unfortunately, I’ve recently had a number of last-minute cancellations and appointments not being attended. As a small business, this has a significant impact on both my time and income, and sadly it’s no longer sustainable.

Going forward:
💗 Consultations will be £25, which is fully deductible from the cost of your treatment when you go ahead with your appointment.

💗 A non refundable £50 deposit will also be required for all treatments over £100 to secure your booking (see seperate cancellation policy update).

These changes aren’t about making things more difficult—they’re simply to help protect my business and ensure appointment times are reserved for clients who are ready to proceed.

I truly appreciate the continued support from each and every one of you. Thank you for understanding and for supporting my small business. It means more than you know. 💕
