Trevor Bamford MA at The Wellbeing Studio
Trevor Bamford is a caring and focused Hypnotherapist who works currently from The Newstead Centre and occasionally from The Wellbeing Centre.
His aim is to help people overcome issues and obstacles they have in their life that stop them enjoying the happiness and freedom that they really deserve. A quote from Trevor regarding his work:
"Sometimes things happen to people, usually something really small when they were little, fluffing lines in a school play, or someone saying something nasty about the way they look. Or perhaps they heard someone make a loud noise when a spider poked its head out. These things may have caused someone to develop a debilitating issue which they probably can't remember the origin of, which has held them back in one way or another all their life. My job is to find out what happened and to free the person from this so they live a happier , confident and fulfilled life!"
Working with people is something Trevor does successfully and he has many years of experience in that field. Prior to becoming a Hypnotherapist, Trevor was involved in the field of education and the private sector.
He is currently working towards attaining a PhD.
Trevor holds a distinction diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Mind Coaching and a certificate as a Smoking Cessation Specialist.
Trevor also has a current enhanced DBS Certificate and professional insurance with Holistic Insurance Services.

Did You Know.....
That Aromatherapy started my journey many years ago into Complementary Therapies?
Aromatherapy is the use of natural pure essential oils, extracted from plants, roots, flowers, leaves or bark, and can have a powerful balancing and nurturing effect on the entire being.
Do be aware when looking for an aromatherapy massage. I have trained and qualified in Level 4 (Advanced), you will also see some that are Clinical Aromatherapists. Why am I sharing this with you?
I want to make you aware as people have to be trained and qualified to work with Essential Oils because of the reactions that can be caused by these oils. A thorough consultation of a client's health and wellbeing has to be done to make sure that the oils being used are not 'contraindicated' for use with clients who have conditions such as high blood pressure, low blood pressure, pregnant, migraines, epilepsy etc. Now there are oils that can be used to help support these clients and be of benefit to them.
I know I have been trained well to support my clients and a long time of experience of using these oils, but popularity of these Essential Oils have grown (which is good news) but safety of use is paramount!
Please make sure that your therapist has the right qualifications for providing this therapy. You will find my list of my qualifications here The Wellbeing Studio and continue to learn. I never stop, it is always ongoing to provide the best I can for my clients.
Have you taken a look at the list of body therapies I provide including Aromatherapy? 👇👇

While we are having this wonderful hot weather, I thought I would share with you the benefits of a foot soak.
A foot soak is relaxing and can have many benefits.
Why Is a Foot Soak Beneficial?
A foot soak is more than just relaxing with your feet in warm or hot water. It’s what you add to the water that makes a foot soak beneficial. The two main ingredients used in a foot soak are Epsom salt.
What is Epsom salt? Epsom salt is a natural mix of magnesium and sulfate. Don’t be confused by its name, because Epsom salt is nothing like table salt.
How do I use Epsom salt in a foot soak? Dissolve a half-cup of Epsom salt into a tub or bowl of warm water. Soak your feet for 10 to 20 minutes once a week.
What are the health benefits of Epsom salt? Epsom salt can help soften your skin and leave it less prone to bacteria overgrowth. Other health benefits include:
Relieves stress and helps you feel relaxed
Eases pain and muscle cramps
Boosts nerve and muscle function
The Surprising Benefits of Soaking Feet in Hot Water Before Sleep
The feet are often considered one of the most important parts of the body because they are the final structure of the legs. The feet consist of many small bones that enable the body to perform complex activities flexibly. The feet work harmoniously with the rest of the body, allowing us to stand, do complex movements like running and jumping, and engage in sports.
There are over 20 acupuncture points on the feet, each playing a role in maintaining various activities and affecting overall health. The acupuncture points in the soles of the feet are directly connected to the brain, meaning that soaking the feet can improve sleep quality. Nowadays, traditional Chinese medicine uses foot massage to reduce headaches, treat bone and joint diseases, detoxify, etc…
Welcome to Bank Holiday Monday 😎
Time to relax, switch off and enjoy.
Have a lovely day everyone 🙂

Acupuncture for pain relief.
We are a fully licensed and qualified to carry out Acupuncture. It stimulates the sensory nerves under the skin and in the muscles.
How it Works
Western Medical Acupuncture:
Is based on a medical diagnosis and focuses on stimulating sensory nerves under the skin and in muscles. The stimulation triggers the body's natural production of pain-relieving substances like endorphins.
The Procedure
Fine, thin needles are inserted into specific acupuncture points on the skin.
The needles are typically left in place for a short period and may be manipulated manually or with small electrical currents (electroacupuncture).
The procedure is generally not painful; people often don't feel the needles being inserted, though they may experience a mild aching sensation.
Uses and Benefits
Acupuncture is used for various conditions, including:
Pain relief for conditions like headaches, migraines, and back pain.
Relief from nausea and vomiting.
Treatment of respiratory conditions such as hay fever.
Management of insomnia and menstrual cramps.

Are you sick and tired of feeling sick and tired?
Are you fed up with spending so much money on ci******es?
Are you concerned for the health of those around you because of your smoking? Are you concerned that you may die an early death?
Would you like to feel healthy once again and look younger?
Be able to run up the stairs again without coughing and wheezing?
Spend more time with your loved ones without being embarrassed or ashamed of how you appear and smell?
Hypnotherapy could help you to achieve this using trusted scientific and proven methods that are designed to get you to quit safely and quit for good!
Cigarette smoking is the greatest single cause of illness and premature death in the UK. To***co is killing around 78000 people each year, with almost a quarter of those deaths due to non-smokers being exposed to second-hand smoke. Smoking ages you, ages your skin, makes you smell and gradually destroys you. Despite this, one in five adults are still regular smokers.
Quitting smoking can be a challenge for a person to face, but mainly this is because the media promote the idea that it is difficult. When in reality it isn't if someone fully gives themselves over to the help that hypnotherapy can offer. Results can be dramatic and permanent.
The way that it works is that the habit of smoking is controlled by the subconscious, and hypnotherapy is an amazingly effective way of talking to the subconscious and creating suggestions and new ways of looking at things that will help you in changing your thought patterns and behaviours associated with smoking.
Are you ready for a remarkable change in your life? Do you want to be free once again?
So contact me now to start on your reliable, proven and wonderful personal journey to freedom and happiness!

What is Ear Microsuction?
Microsuction is one of the safest methods to clean the ear.
Ear microsuction is a modern and highly effective method of earwax removal that offers a safer and more precise alternative to traditional techniques, such as ear syringing or irrigation. It is a procedure performed by a trained professional using a specialized microscope and gentle suction device to remove earwax or debris from the ear canal.
How Does Ear Microsuction Work?
The process of ear microsuction begins with an examination of the ear canal using a microscope. The magnified view allows the practitioner to see the wax buildup clearly. A small suction device is then inserted into the ear to carefully remove the wax without touching the sensitive structures inside the ear, making it a highly accurate procedure. The suction method reduces the risk of damaging the eardrum or pushing wax further into the ear canal, which can sometimes happen with other methods.
Benefits of Ear Microsuction
Safe and Gentle: Unlike traditional methods, microsuction does not involve water, making it a more controlled and safer procedure. This is particularly beneficial for people with perforated eardrums or other ear conditions.
Precise and Quick: With the use of a microscope, the practitioner has a clear view of the ear canal, allowing them to remove wax with great precision. The procedure typically takes just a few minutes.
Painless: Ear microsuction is usually painless. Some people might feel slight suction or a tickling sensation, but it’s far less uncomfortable than other methods like syringing.
No Mess: Since the procedure doesn’t involve flushing the ear with water, it’s cleaner and doesn’t create a mess.
Effective for All Ages: Whether for children or adults, ear microsuction is effective and can be used for people of all ages, including those with sensitive ears.
Improves Hearing and Relieves Symptoms: For those suffering from hearing loss, discomfort, or a feeling of fullness due to earwax buildup, microsuction provides immediate relief. Many patients report an improvement in hearing after the procedure.

You hear holistic being used in all sorts of industries - Id like to think it started with us wellness bods. But what does it mean?
At its about supporting you to obtain and maintain your optimum health right now. That's vague, because you are unique. Where you are in your health and wellness journey is unique to you, there's no comparing you with anyone else. Every client is different and treated with your needs and issues in mind.
Take one client...
a young mum, she came to me tired, exhausted, challenged, busy, time poor, not sleeping well, making unhealthy food choices, no time for exercise.
Where do we start, we start by unpicking her challenges, where small changes can be made to have an impact. This would include treatments, which would help calm, relax, support her own mental health and give her a regular diary date for her selfcare.
