Sitting on these rocks in Magaluf, I found myself thinking about direction.

What next?
Where am I going?
What should I be doing differently?

And then I thought… just stop.

Stop trying to work everything out.

Stop feeling like every quiet moment needs to produce an answer, a plan or a revelation.

So I sat there and tried to empty my mind.

Because the truth is, what’s going to be is going to be.

I don’t need to know exactly how everything is going to unfold. I don’t need to have every next step mapped out.

What I can control is how I show up.

To be committed to the things I say I want.
To be consistent in the things that move me towards them.
And to give myself enough grace to understand that the rest will unfold in its own time.

Maybe taking a break isn’t always about finding clarity.

Sometimes it’s about giving yourself permission not to have the answers.

For now, committed and consistent is enough. 🤍

I definitely didn’t consider the stairs when I chose my unit… 😂

Unloading stock is one thing.
Unloading stock and then carrying every single box up these stairs is another.

Today I took Bob for a walk in the woods and, for a few moments, everything else faded into the background.

The emails, the to-do lists, the responsibilities, the plans, the worries about tomorrow… all of it paused.

Just birdsong, fresh air, the rustle of leaves, and a happy dog exploring the world one sniff at a time.

It’s easy to think self-care is something we need to schedule, buy, or perfect. Sometimes it’s simply giving yourself permission to step away and be present in a small, ordinary moment.
