With my autism awareness training, I truly understand that every child is different and sometimes things take time. Patience is everything. This business isn’t about rushing or just about the money — it’s about creating a safe, comfortable experience for children with no judgement.

Today I visited a lovely little boy for a haircut, but he just wasn’t ready — and that’s completely okay. I would never force a child to have their hair cut if they’re not comfortable.

So instead, we left it there, had a little chat and I’ll be coming back another day to try again when he feels a bit more settled with me.

This is exactly why I started Tedderz Trimz Kids Mobile Barbering — to create a space with no judgement, no pressure, just patience and understanding.

Sometimes it takes a few visits to build trust, and that’s perfectly fine with me. 💙

This little superstar smashed his haircut today ✂️💙

Teddy was honestly so good while having his hair cut. Sitting still isn’t always easy for little ones, especially with the noise of the clippers and having to stay in one place — but he did amazing and I’m so proud of him.

Cutting children’s hair can definitely come with its challenges. Every child is different, some feel nervous, some don’t like the sound or sensation, and some just want to be anywhere but the chair 😅. But that’s where patience is everything.

Taking your time, keeping them calm, letting them feel safe and comfortable — that’s the key. When you work at their pace and make it a positive experience, it makes all the difference.
