Nettle, rosemary, flaxseed & soapwort hair and scalp cleansing and nourishing hair rinse infusion bags.
£10 for 3 hair infusion bags (3-9 washes depending on hair length and thickness and whether you save the excess brew from each simmer).
Can be used instead of shampoo, to cleanse hair on alternate days to shampoo or after shampooing.
Rosemary and nettle both nourish and encourage hair growth for thicker, healthier hair. Flaxseed prevents hair breakage, soothes inflammation on the scalp and gives the hair rinse and thicker gel-like consistency. Soapwort is antibacterial and rich in saponins so can help strip excess oil in between (or instead of) shampoo washes.
Using this instead of conventional shampoo and conditioner? If you’re prone to dry ends - use a little bit of oil on the ends of your hair. I like our rosehip oil for this.
How to use:
In a saucepan, simmer the hair rinse tea bag in 1-2 cups of water for 10-20 minutes. Don’t let boil and make sure there is always water in the pan so it doesn’t go too thick. Leave to cool and apply to hair in the bath or shower. Careful not to get any in your eyes. Any extra can be stored in the fridge for a few days or frozen to be used any time. Not for internal use.
