I did this makeup on myself over the weekend to create some content for social media and I absolutely love it 🥰 (big head I know 🤪) it’s incredible how with a tiny bit of sparkle you can take a simple day makeup and vamp it up completely!! Am I allowed to wear glitter and diamantés everyday please?!?!?!

So on Easter weekend I was given a brief for a clubland night and these beauts wanted everything bright, bold and glittery 🥰

I did not disappoint- went all out with all the colours!! And I think they rock it 🤪😭

Let’s talk about Bridal makeup 🥰

This is one of my specialties and also my absolute favourite kind of ‘job’!!! It’s a total honour when a bride picks me to do the makeup for her wedding day 🥰 it means all of her trust is in me to make her look beautiful on her big day! Along with her bridesmaids!

Bridal makeup can get a bit pricey but there are reasons for this and I would like to give you a few -

Training - this is so important and is completely separate from the usual makeup qualifications that you can get. It is also quite pricey!

Product - when it comes to (any) makeup we cannot afford to cut corners and go for the cheaper brands that are out there. We also have to buy specific foundations, primers and concealers to make sure that there is no ‘flash back’ (where your face looks super white) in your beautiful photos.

Insurance - we need insurance to make sure that everything is covered all the way from my personal kit to even your wedding dress!!

Time and travel - most weddings start quite early in the day so that you can get the most out of your big day! And a fair few brides have a fair few bridesmaids and this means that we have to have super early starts such as 5/6am 😱🤪 we are also happy to travel almost any distance to wherever you are to ensure you’ve got who you desire for your wedding day!

Once you’ve taken out of those ’costs’ the balance is what we actually earn at the end! We don’t end up with a whole lot but we just love it so much that we don’t mind in the slightest!!
