Hey lovelies 👋🏼
I’ve been seeing so many of you recently usually when I’m at a hospital appointment or something to do with a health appointment! I’ve also bumped into a few people I don’t know who have seen Lush’s posts and come up to me to wish me well which is honestly so lovely ☺️ One was even a nurse of mine who knew me from the Facebook posts!! Small world 🌎❤️🩹
I have promised a few of you in person I would catch you all up on what’s been happening with me. And I am someone who sticks to their word so tomorrow I will post a video and catch you all up on the latest 🎥🏥 See you then!❤️

MY ROCKS 🩷
How are you all? I know this is a hair salon page and I used to post hair photos but as we all know by now that’s unfortunately not going to being posted anymore. However I promised you all I would keep you all up to date with my health and here’s a little appreciation post. Every Monday me and my mumma have a good day and a good giggle 🤭 Especially days like today I realised how lucky I am to be here raised by the strongest woman!
They both have been pushing me along in my wheelchair ramming me up the curbs 🤣 getting annoyed at people who just blatantly stand and stare at me which in all honesty it is so rude and I get so upset & kind of embarrassed 🙈
Between my mum and Rick I am well taken care of ❤️🩹 My husband is literally my caregiver. He makes life worth living 🩷 The stories I could write, the things he has heard and seen and yet he ALWAYS makes me feel comfortable and happy in every circumstance whether it’s when I’m about to be taken into theatre he is there smile on his face and a kiss 💋
In other news I have had some good news from the hospital 🙌🏻 Ready for the next round of surgeries ❤️🩹
I hope you’re all ok! I miss talking to you all, having a good gossip, having a giggle and putting a smile on my clients face when I do their hair ❤️ I miss Lush Hair immensely!! 💔🥺

HEALTH UPDATE ❤️🩹
3 weeks ago I had my first of manyyyy surgeries ✔️ This is step 1 of getting my body back to normal! Me being me after having the surgery which I was listed on the trauma priority list first in theatre at 7am 🕖 I was up early the very next morning hopping around - as no weight bearing on my foot for 6 weeks!
3 days after I was discharged, which I practically discharged myself 🤣 at this point in my head sat in my hospital bed I was thinking there is no way I’m staying another night so thank god they were happy enough with me to go home 🏡 Apparently it’s unheard of 3 days post trauma surgery to be going home after only 3 nights in hospital 🏥!
To be honest with you, I am proper proud of myself 🥹 I’ve taken everything on the chin, kept myself sane (up to now!), taken everything day by day and everything in my stride. Tried not to overthink anything and just sort of got on with it which is why I think the surgeon was happy with me going home 🙌🏻
I keep fighting the fight to get my body healthy and happy again 🫶🤞🏻❤️🩹

IT’S OFFICIAL 🪧
My beautiful little salon is up to be Let 🏡 My mumma has owned this beautiful building for over 20years!😮 Whoever is to take on this beauty will have the best of luck just like me and my mumma did with our businesses🌷💇♀️

BROKEN HEARTED 💔
Today is the day the salon goes up for rent. Being stood in the salon speaking to the estate agent with my mum felt surreal with such a mix of emotions.
I remember doing my first ever client in Lush, a lady who used to walk past the salon to get on the bus every single morning 🌅 literally the day I opened she popped her head in and asked for a blow wave for when she gets back off the bus later…so she comes in and I remember it so clearly my mum was sat at the desk and I was at the backwash..well the bloody water was FREEZING and it would not get warm. I stared at my mum not wanting the lady to know anything was wrong 🙈 long story short it EVENTUALLY became warm and then went too fooking hot that I nearly burnt her scalp 🙈😅🙈 ANYWAYYY my point is just in that moment which I laugh about now, I knew me and my mum would be on this journey together. And when I told my mum & dad I was done (which to be fair they all had been talking about it behind my back apparently! And my health had forced my hand) she just looked at me and kissed my forehead.
This is not easy for me. I cry every time I think of someone being in the salon. But I am also excited for the next chapter of Lush Hair and the people who will be taking over the building.
Love to every single person who entered the salon and to every single client, I miss and appreciate you 😘🩷❤️🧡💛💜💙🩵💚 ps, I have not seen the lady in yearssssss and I always wondered what happened to her ☺️
Just to reiterate as I’m still getting messages, the salon will never be up for sale we own it. And it will not be rented out as a hairdressers for obvious reasons 🥲
