Let’s catch up! I told you all I would always pop up and give a little update & a catch up 🤗

I had an issue with my routine bloods and ended up in Tameside Hospital a few weeks ago but thankfully they put me back together….again! ❤️‍🩹

Also it was my 2 year ‘anniversary’ of when I ended up in hospital in July 2024, so I had to pop into the ICU unit at Tameside to see the AMAZING doctors and nurses that saved my life - literally. Most of whom I still speak to very often and they check in with me. I adore them 😌

I’ve been prepping for my big surgery, a lot of tests and hospital appointments but still no date!! But I quite like that, because I don’t know what anyone else is like, but the more time I have to think the more I’ll be stressing so I’m hoping they do a days notice like they did my last surgery 🤞🏻

I’ve been writing my book, which has been bringing up lots of memories to which I have a lot of PTSD! Therapist recommendations needed please 🙏🏻

A lovely moment and blessing was me and Rick celebrated our 10 year anniversary 💍 I can’t believe what we have been through and we are still standing! He really did stick to his vows, “In sickness and in health” 💞

Ok, finally I’ve been hearing rumbles for some time and lots of rumours that are so wrong it’s laughable. So here are some answers for you all to hopefully put an end to the confusion that some of you gossipers have caused.

* “She lost the salon”
How can I lose a salon I own? We, as in me and my mum, have owned the building for over 25 years now. I still own the business ’Lush Hair Saddleworth’, in fact I have had offers to buy the business from me and I have turned them down!

* “She had a overdo$e”
ABSOLUTELY FUC*ING NOT‼️‼️‼️
I don’t take drugs, have never taken drugs and will never take drugs. Whoever has made up this horrific narrative should be ashamed of themselves. I had sepsis which became septic shock which nearly killed me. There were then many other complications that followed. I don’t think anyone will ever know just how much I have been through. Just to give a little, I had 3 cardiac arrests because of sepsis…3! I was on life support in a coma for a week and had to learn how to walk, talk and write again.

Something else I would like to address is, please please stop talking about me to the people who know me prying hoping that said person will tell you something about me. Those who truly truly know me are in my corner and I have a very tight circle. So please stop ✋ and let’s just support one another instead of making up lies.

I am doing so well in my recovery ❤️‍🩹 as you can see in the different photos. All that recovery in just over a year!! And to those who have supported me from day one, Thank You 🥹😘

It would of been Lush Hair’s 14 year anniversary this month 🌷

I get asked all the time if I miss it….I’m gonna be honest I don’t. I miss the clients, the conversations and the look on peoples faces when I have done their hair - wow I miss that feeling 🥹 But so so much has happened in the 2 years and a lot of it was the repercussions of working way too much and never saying ‘no’.

However over the past few weeks I keep getting memories popping up on my social media’s of all the hair before&afters and the transformations I was known for 🎨 And it keeps putting a smile on my face when I see a picture of a colour I’ve done and I know from just the back of someone’s head who that client was 😆

Another question I always get asked is, will I ever go back to having the salon and right now it’s a no. I won’t even cut/colour my families hair 🤣 To the point I had to write down my mums formulas and the technique for someone else to do it!😆
In all seriousness I couldn’t even if I wanted to, my body is still too weak and I have to have my eyes on the prize of getting through my next surgery! But you can never say never! ❤️‍🩹

18th May 2026 - Day 1 of writing my book.

I’m nervous for what I’ll be writing, I’m nervous for people to be actually reading it and I’ll be nervous for people perhaps judging me or being mean ❤️‍🩹

Regardless, I am writing it! Eeek! 😆📕

Hey lovelies 👋🏼

I’ve been seeing so many of you recently usually when I’m at a hospital appointment or something to do with a health appointment! I’ve also bumped into a few people I don’t know who have seen Lush’s posts and come up to me to wish me well which is honestly so lovely ☺️ One was even a nurse of mine who knew me from the Facebook posts!! Small world 🌎❤️‍🩹

I have promised a few of you in person I would catch you all up on what’s been happening with me. And I am someone who sticks to their word so tomorrow I will post a video and catch you all up on the latest 🎥🏥 See you then!❤️

MY ROCKS 🩷

How are you all? I know this is a hair salon page and I used to post hair photos but as we all know by now that’s unfortunately not going to being posted anymore. However I promised you all I would keep you all up to date with my health and here’s a little appreciation post. Every Monday me and my mumma have a good day and a good giggle 🤭 Especially days like today I realised how lucky I am to be here raised by the strongest woman!

They both have been pushing me along in my wheelchair ramming me up the curbs 🤣 getting annoyed at people who just blatantly stand and stare at me which in all honesty it is so rude and I get so upset & kind of embarrassed 🙈

Between my mum and Rick I am well taken care of ❤️‍🩹 My husband is literally my caregiver. He makes life worth living 🩷 The stories I could write, the things he has heard and seen and yet he ALWAYS makes me feel comfortable and happy in every circumstance whether it’s when I’m about to be taken into theatre he is there smile on his face and a kiss 💋

In other news I have had some good news from the hospital 🙌🏻 Ready for the next round of surgeries ❤️‍🩹

I hope you’re all ok! I miss talking to you all, having a good gossip, having a giggle and putting a smile on my clients face when I do their hair ❤️ I miss Lush Hair immensely!! 💔🥺
