I’ve recently started using the new Alumier IntelliRET and I have to say, it’s a really impressive formula.

Retinol is one of the most proven ingredients when it comes to anti-ageing, as it helps stimulate collagen, improve skin texture, soften fine lines and reduce pigmentation. The problem is that many people struggle to tolerate it, especially if they have sensitive skin.

IntelliRET uses 0.3% micro-encapsulated retinol, which releases gradually into the skin instead of all at once. This means you still get the collagen-stimulating and skin-renewing benefits, but with far less irritation than traditional retinol products.

It also contains niacinamide to strengthen the skin barrier and peptides to support firmness and elasticity, so it’s not just targeting wrinkles, it’s improving overall skin quality and helping the skin stay healthy as it ages.

One of the reasons I like this product so much is that it’s a great option for clients who want real anti-ageing results but who may have found retinol too strong in the past. The slow-release technology makes it much more suitable for sensitive skin or skin that doesn’t usually tolerate vitamin A, while still giving visible results.

This is exactly the kind of homecare I recommend when you want your skincare to actually change the skin, not just sit on the surface.

SIX MONTHS 😱

Six months since I closed the doors to KCL Skin & Beauty… and what a six months it’s been 🤍

Closing the clinic was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. KCL wasn’t just a business, it was a huge part of my life for so many years, and a part of me will always miss it.

But sometimes life takes you in a different direction, and looking back now, I know I made the right choice for me and my family.

The last six months have been full of change, new routines, a new house, more time with my girls, focusing on family life, new plans, and enjoying being a bigger part of our other business.
I’ve even had friends say I seem more relaxed and laid back these days… which probably says a lot about how much pressure I didn’t realise I was carrying at the time 😂

I still absolutely love bumping into clients when I’m out and about, and I really do miss you all more than you know 🤍

Even though the clinic is closed, I’m always here for Alumier orders, skincare advice, or just a catch up, because it’s something I genuinely love and always will.

Thank you for being such a big part of the KCL journey. Every message, every appointment, every bit of support meant the world to me.

Here’s to new chapters, new memories, and trusting that things work out the way they’re meant to.
