Neil Joseph Hairdressers

🎄✨ We’re Hiring – Permanent & Temporary Roles Available!

✨🎄We’re a friendly, family-run salon in Aughton with over 25 years of history and a loyal client base — and we’re looking for some extra help this festive season!

👩‍🎨 Ideally, we’re on the lookout for a qualified stylist, junior, or apprentice to join us permanently. Whether you’re experienced, returning to the industry, or just starting out, we’d love to hear from you.

🎁 But we also know December is fast approaching — so if you’re someone reliable and customer-focused who’s available for temporary support over the Christmas period, we’d be thrilled to welcome you too! No experience necessary, training will be given.

🕒 Our hours are Tuesday–Saturday, 6:45 AM–2:30 PM (early starts, free afternoons!)
📍 Peaceful garden setting — own transport needed
💬 Informal, friendly, and professional team
💷 National Minimum Wage + tips (weekly pay for temp role)

For permanent roles we are looking for Full Time Tues-Sat or 4 days Tues/Weds and Fri/Sat.

For temporary roles we are happy to accept part time days, just let us know what days you can do but sadly we cannot change the working hours.

If you’re interested in either role — permanent or temporary — or know someone who maybe interested drop us a whatsapp to 07583033744 and we’ll be in touch for an informal chat.

Let’s make this Christmas season a great one together 💫

Hello All
I am sad to say that after 3 years with us at Neil Joseph our resident Aesthetics and Beauty expert Dianna SKIN+ By Dianna has decided to move to a new location. We are really sad to see Dianna go but we wish her every success at her new salon.
However what that means is Neil Joseph has space to rent. It would as you can see from the pictures suit another Aesthetics and Beauty style business incl nails but equally we are happy to hear from other business owners who think the space could work for them.
We are an extremely busy salon and have lovely clients and team who would welcome any new business member or team with open arms.
The space is free from the 1st September so please have a look at the photos and get in touch if you are interested in having a chat about the space and maybe having a visit. Please dont use Facebook Messenger as I don’t always pick them up, please whatsapp me on 07985712412 and I will get in touch.
Thanks
Anne Marie and Neil

Thanks to all the ladies who baked in April for the last NGS if we are willing do it again it would be much appreciated the caked were amazing. If you are a baker we would appreciate the support. You can drop your cakes at the salon or at our home. If you are able to offer some cakes can you text me on 07985712412 as I am no baker and if we dont have enough a visit to Costco on Friday will be needed so it would be great to have an idea.

Home - National Garden Scheme Find a garden to visit from one of 3,500 gardens that open for the National Garden Scheme across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. Use our find a garden search.

Thanks to everyone who has shared our posts about finding some support for our salon for a couple of weeks and to those who offered to move appointments etc. Fortunately a lovely mum from school who is a trained hairdresser has come forward and offered to support, Which is really lovely of her. Power of communities!!! 💪💪Therefore we are all sorted. Thanks again.

Hello All
We have been badly let down last minute by someone covering this week for paid work experience. If anyone knows of anyone looking for a weeks experience in a busy salon, fully paid I would appreciate if you would ask them to contact me on 07985712412. We are looking for someone trained in shampooing.
Thanks
Anne Marie

Hello All
Due to Covid holiday impact we have a rare situation that the two staff are on holiday back to back. As a result the salon is very busy and we are looking for some support.
We would like to offer some paid work experience to a trainee hairdresser or an ex hairdresser who is looking for some work.
Trained shampoo experience is essential and colour application is a bonus.
Sadly please do not contact us if you have not spent some time at college training to be a hairdresser and trained in shampooing.
We are looking for someone from Weds 15th June to the Saturday for the week and depending on other cover we have we may need support from 21st June. Start time is 6:45am to about 2pm or until clients are all finished.
You will love working with us, we are a lovely team.
Please whatsapp Me (Anne Marie) on 07985712412 if you are interested and I will call you back.
Thanks
Anne Marie
