So today let’s give a shout out to all the Mums of the brides and grooms who we have the pleasure of styling on the wedding day. Whether your new to makeup, want to look subtle or glamorous we have you covered. I particularly enjoy doing mums as it’s lovely to experience their love for their sons and daughters on the day and feel and how proud they are.

Todays focus is on our gorgeous bride Tilly and her bridal party.
This is our most requested bridal look and so many people send me these pictures saying that they love the makeup and hair.
Each bridal look is created on an individual basis with colours, depth and photographer edit taken into consideration. Bridal makeup is an extremely specialised area and we have had the pleasure of being involved with hundred of brides and their bridal parties since 2011

It with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that Ruby Slippers is to cease trading. We have had an amazing 10yrs spent with the most fabulous brides and their families. We have shared many tears and laughter and have been honoured to be a part of all your most precious moments. I have built long-standing friendships with many wedding suppliers along the way who I will miss dearly. After the loss of both my parents, my lovely husband Paul, Covid and then myself suffering a heart attack last September it has become evident that I need to redirect myself moving forward. This hasn’t been an easy decision and my heart breaks a little as I write. But for the health of myself and the benefit of my boys it’s the right time. All my existing brides that are booked in for the rest of 2021 and into 2022 need not worry as I will working as normal until next April. We are taking no further bookings from this point. I would like to give a special shout out to to Paul and all his staff as well as all the preferred suppliers, you have been my strength within the industry and I will miss all your smiles and our laughter. ❤️❤️❤️

It’s been such a long time since wedding season was in full flow. We will be back stronger than ever when it’s safe for everyone to do so.
