Pt 2

Week 4 ✅ we landed in Italy 🇮🇹 for a quick pit stop enjoyed some local delights 🍷🍝 and got the kayaks out for their maiden voyage on lake Maggiore then off to France 🇫🇷 kayaking through gorge du Verdon, it was absolutely beautiful but me and Jack were in 1 kayak together and no matter how hard we tried to paddle together we kept going in circles! 😬😂😂😂 Jack was adamant he could paddle himself so I obviously obliged….. put my paddle down and enjoyed the view like a passenger princess! 👑 he was actually really good 🛶 After that we headed up the million steps up to the monastery on top of the cliff, the town was amazingly beautiful (reminded me of beauty and the beast ‘an old provincial town’) then we headed off to Monte Carlo to see how the other half live, never seen so many supercars at once! 🤑 we walked around the F1 track and visited Grace Kelly’s Japanese gardens 🪴 …. After a whirlwind couple of days we headed to our camp near St tropez and have spent the last 5 days relaxing on the beach! Bliss! Now on another mega drive up to Paris for 2 nights before catching the ferry back home 🥺😢 can’t believe how fast it has gone x x x

Pt 2 🫣

Week 3 ✅ and Switzerland 🇨🇭 what a beautiful country ……. Hard to describe but if you ever get the chance to go, definitely do! There’s more pics / vids as I was snap happy (sorry not sorry!🤣) but it was a jam packed, adrenaline filled 5 days! First was a walk round the glacier canyon on a tiny bridge and onto the net over the rushing canyon 🫣 the next day was Grindelwald first doing the cable cars up, zip line down half and then mountain karts down the next section (I got seriously competitive here and was over taking as many as I could !) 😝😝🏎️ ending the night with walking up behind the waterfall where we were staying in Lauterbrunnen during a thunderstorm ⛈️ then on our last day we went on the Gelmerbahn, which saw a whole new fear of heights for Jon (see after pic!) 🤣🤣🤣 and a 3 hour hike around the dam! Then came the down cards trip on the Gelmerbahn and Jon had to put a towel over his head! 🙄 we made it down which is where Jon decided we weren’t driving over Stelvio pass as originally planned and we took an alternative route over Nufenennpass
Which was bloody scary enough so I’m glad we didn’t do Stelvio….. now onto the Italian 🇮🇹 leg of our journey! If u made it this far…… well done!! 😂😂😂😂😂 Pt 1

Sorry I’m a bit late in posting week 2! We landed in Nuremberg and such a lovely, quaint old town, we visited the castle and even the medieval tortured chambers 😱 quite tempted to try the shackles on the boys but I refrained! 🤣 after 3 nights here we headed off to the black Forrest and set up camp, where we just had 5 days of much needed r&r, chilling by the pool so no photos! 🤣🤣 this brought an end to our German leg and now we set off for Switzerland camping at camp Jungfrau (iykyk!) for a full packed 5 days…….. catch up next week x x x

Week 1 complete ✅ 2x nights in Oxford, including Diddly squat farm (spending extortionate prices in the gift shop 😱), first time sleeping in the van and we even threw in some wild swimming! Then we were on to our first mammoth drive through 5 counties to our first German destination in Dortmund! Here we had 2x nights including a tour of Borussia Dortmund stadium (tell me you’re a boy mum without telling me!🙄) saw the super cars at JP performance, and a lovely mooch around the city centre ready for our next leg to Berlin for 3x nights, and wow, what a city! We walked our little legs off here saw all the main sights, the boys were like a sponge taking it all in! The look on their faces when they saw hitlers bunker (not sure what they were expecting but its just a car park!🤣) we took a walk around the top dome of the Berlin cathedral, such a beautiful building! So much to do and see here, just on our next leg as I write this …… next stop Nuremberg! I’ll try and update again after week 2 🥰🚐
