You sit across from the basin, glance in the mirror… and panic.
“I’ve just had highlights and my hair looks DARK!!!” 😳

This beautiful blonde was cut, dried and styled, but swipe for the photo taken only 30 minutes earlier. Can you believe the difference?…

The “before” hair is wet, and that’s all!

Think of it like wet clothes or wet sand:
A dry beach looks pale because the grains scatter light, while wet sand looks darker because the water reduces light scatter and increases absorption. Hair behaves the same way.

Dry hair reflects and scatters more light, so blondes appear brighter and softer. Wet hair absorbs more light, making it look deeper, darker and cooler in tone.

Before this pic we’d added already a partial top section highlight of blonde but wow… what an impact. So Beautiful ✨

So if you’re sitting in the stylist’s chair staring at your wet hair thinking it feels too dark, don’t panic just yet!!!!
We’ll dry before anyone reaches for the toner 😉

Okay, not a colour correction, but the before (swipe to see) had uneven tones with too red much peeking through.

The after… well it speaks for itself!! 🖤
