What an honour it was to attend such a wonderful event in support of our beloved Oxford Phoenix FC.

This team is a family — and so much more than a football club. We are incredibly proud to see them nominated for the Active Award. Their spirit, dedication and inclusivity continue to inspire everyone around them; they truly embody what it means to build bridges across our communities.🧡🖤

The room was filled with remarkable individuals and community groups from across Oxfordshire, each making a meaningful difference in their own way. It was also a real privilege to see two of our local heroes recognised through nominations.✨️✨️

The wonderful Sandhills Nature Group never ceases to amaze us. We feel so fortunate to witness first-hand the positive impact of their work on so many of our customers, neighbours and the wider community.

And if you are local to Risinghurst, you will almost certainly know the one and only Barbara Naylor — a true legend and an extraordinary woman. Barbara opened the door for us to serve our community, gave us the opportunity to be part of the local Parish Council for more than five years, and has allowed us to support her incredible work over the past decade. We are endlessly grateful.

There is no community without care, kindness and selfless acts of service. May we all continue to give back in whatever way we can, however small it may seem. 💚

This is our 10th year of supporting secondary school work experience students from across Oxford and we couldn't be more honoured to have done so.📚

We have learnt a great deal over these years and so much talent has walked through our doors. Our business strives itself in building bridges across our communities and helping to develop tomorrow's leaders. Youth provisions is a massive part of our work.
We have employed 98% of our students directly from our work experience programme.

We absolutely enjoy watching others develop and helping them achieve their full potential. This form of giving and helping others is our gift to our community and to those in need. We are stronger together. 💚

We are so incredibly proud of these outstanding group of young men. They started the season as newbies in the Oxfordshire Senior League and have ended the season as Ivor Gubbin Cup Runners Up - it is simply unimaginable.
This club is built on heart, resilience and brotherhood. It is more than just football, it is a true family. Regardless of background, skin colour, culture or religion every single player is welcomed and loved with open arms into an environment filled with passion and unity.
Our pharmacy prides itself on community cohesion and simple acts of service. It was a very simple and easy decision for us to sponsor this club and by far the best one we have ever made. Oxford Phoenix Football Club has taught us to be humble, rise together in the face of adversity and to never forget that we are stronger together. We are so excited for the future and look forward to supporting the growth and development of this club and seeing first hand the social impact of their work in our local community.

Community Connections was the key message from the Declaration Ceremony of the New High Sheriff of Oxfordshire 2026.

It was beyond an honour and a sincere pleasure to attend this event and learn about the vision, drive and passion of High Sheriff Jawaid Malik.

Connecting communities goes beyond words - it's about building understanding, respect and shared purpose. True strength lies in interfaith cohesion and the unity we create when we come together with open hearts and minds.

We're proud to have been part of such an inspiring moment with many of our friends from the community. It was a humble reminder that diversity is not a barrier but a bridge. 💚
