Not every rash is eczema.
As the seasons change, your skin can react to colder temperatures, drier air and other environmental changes. But not every rash or flare-up is eczema, and getting the right diagnosis is important for effective treatment.
In this video, Dr Ana-Maria Al Soodi explains why persistent or changing rashes are worth getting checked by a dermatologist.
π If your rash isn't settling, is changing, or you're unsure what it is, get it checked out by a dermatologist.

Supporting better acne care through education and collaboration.

π©ββοΈ When specialist dermatology input can support patient care
It was a fantastic opportunity to bring local healthcare professionals together, share clinical knowledge and discuss how we can support patients with acne through their treatment journey.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to LβOrΓ©al Dermatological Beauty for collaborating with us on another valuable educational evening.

Is your skin rash not responding to over-the-counter creams?
If a rash is persistent, keeps coming back or isnβt improving with treatments from the pharmacy, itβs worth getting it checked by a specialist.
In this video, Dr Ana-Maria Al Soodi explains why getting the right diagnosis is important β and how a dermatologist can help identify the cause and recommend the most appropriate treatment.

3 simple tips for teenage skin π
Teenage skin can be tricky to manage, especially when breakouts appear. Here are three simple tips from the Oxona dermatology team:
1. Keep it gentle π«§
Cleanse morning and evening with a gentle cleanser. Avoid harsh scrubs or over-washing, which can irritate the skin.
2. Don't pick! π
ββοΈ
Squeezing spots can increase inflammation and may lead to scarring. Try to leave them alone and allow your skin to heal.
3. Moisturise & protect βοΈ
Even oily or acne-prone skin needs moisture. Choose a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturiser and use SPF 30+ during the day.
If acne is persistent, painful or affecting confidence, our dermatology team can help with personalised treatment options.
