No-shows or last-minute cancellations 😒

I get that things come up — it happens! But when you’re self-employed, I’ve got to protect my time and livelihood.

This one was on a Friday afternoon, which is my busiest day of the week. I’d already turned others away or squeezed them into the evening. I always try to stay positive and use the time to catch up on things like ordering supplies or tidying — but honestly, it still feels like wasted time, and I don’t get paid.

From 1st August, I’ll be updating my booking and cancellation policy to help avoid this going forward.

✨ 48 hours’ notice is now required for any cancellations or reschedules.
⏳ Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged a fee or result in a lost deposit.
💳 If you’ve cancelled last-minute before, I’ll kindly ask for full payment upfront before taking any new bookings.

Please 🙏🏻 remember to book in advance because come May I’m working stricter hours with the evenings becoming nicer. I’m squeezing in last minute appointments too often, my fault I know and then not having me time.
