MLD Guides | Plain-English Answers | The MLD Register Clear, honest guides to Manual Lymphatic Drainage: what it is, what it costs in the UK, how to check a therapist's training, and what to expect after surgery or with lymphoedema.

This is a very thorough and informative website regarding Lymphatic Drainage. If you have any questions youll find them answered here. Finally someone has explained and made public the nuances with the different therapies and hopefully injuries post operatively can be avoided.

The intersect between NHS and private practice. Signs of the times and looking forward to the day!!

So lovely ...

Take a look at this picture. It shows the start of fungal nail infection. It begins as athletes foot (not everyone realises they have it, it’s not always itchy) then if left untreated, the fungus sits on the nail and turns this white colour like in the picture. (This happens to me this summer and I was surprised how quickly!).
It will eventually pe*****te and turn yellow/ brown and then back when it’s really deep (if left untreated).

Fungus on nails is notoriously difficult to get rid of once it takes hold. It’s much easier to eradicate when treated while it’s still white, and before it spreads to all the nails. I usually bur it down with a drill and advise topical treatment to get on top of it quickly. Please don’t ignore it; you’ll regret doing so!

I’m seeing so much at the moment. It’s the weather - warm and damp. Vigilance treating athletes foot quickly pays off! Please take your foot health seriously 😊👣💚
