It’s all about the water 💦 xx
💧 Why does your reflexologist always remind you to drink plenty of water?
It’s not just a friendly reminder - it’s an important part of supporting your wellbeing.
Our bodies are made up of around 60% water, and every cell relies on it to function properly. Water helps transport nutrients, regulate body temperature, lubricate joints, support digestion, and flush waste products from the body.
When you’re dehydrated, even mildly, you may notice:
💧 Fatigue or low energy
💧 Headaches
💧 Muscle cramps
💧 Brain fog or poor concentration
💧 Dry skin
💧 Dizziness
💧 Constipation
During a reflexology treatment, your body is encouraged to relax, rebalance, and support its natural healing processes. Staying well hydrated helps your body function at its best before and after your session.
☀️ In the summer months, it’s even easier to become dehydrated. Warmer weather means we lose more fluid through sweating, and if we’re spending time outdoors, exercising, travelling, or enjoying the sunshine, our water needs increase.
A few simple ways to stay hydrated:
✅ Sip water regularly throughout the day rather than waiting until you’re thirsty.
✅ Enjoy water-rich foods like cucumber, watermelon, oranges, and strawberries.
✅ Remember that tea and coffee don’t replace water, especially on hot days.
Think of water as one of the simplest acts of self-care - it supports your body every single day.
So next time your reflexologist reminds you to drink more water, you’ll know it’s because we want you to get the very best from your treatment and feel your healthiest.
The recommended daily water intake is around 8 glasses a day, although your individual needs may vary depending on your activity level, the weather, and your overall health.
How many glasses of water have you had today?💙👣

How is your day going, folks? I’ve spent a lot of the day reading and relaxing in my egg chair, walking my beloved Bree in the countryside, watching nature be amazing and admiring trees! I was chuckling earlier when I ran my Sunday evening bath - Ducky Styles has a new hairdo! Hope you are all making the most of whatever you are doing, and as always, sending love to anyone who needs it # # #
