Not all permanent brows are created the same… and that’s exactly the point.

One of the things I love most about permanent makeup is that there isn’t one brow that suits everyone.

Some people want super soft and natural. Others love a fuller, more defined brow. Some have plenty of natural brow hair to work with, while others have very little.

That’s why I offer a range of techniques including:

✨ Microblading – fine, natural-looking hairstrokes
✨ Nano Brows – soft hairstrokes created with a machine
✨ Combination Brows – hairstrokes with soft shading for a little more definition
✨ Ombré / Powder Brows – a beautifully soft, shaded finish
✨ Brushed-Up Brows – fluffier, textured strokes for a fuller modern look

When you come in for your appointment I'll look at your natural brows, skin, colouring and the result you want, then recommend the technique I think will give you the best result.

For this client I created a nanoblade brushed-up brow, using fine hairstrokes to create a fuller, fluffy look while still keeping the brows natural.

This is what I love about permanent makeup – there isn't one brow that suits everyone. Some clients want barely-there natural hairstrokes, while others love a fuller, brushed-up look like this.

I work with different permanent brow techniques including microblading, nanoblading/nano brows, combination and shaded brows, so you don't need to work out which treatment to book.

One of the things I love most about permanent makeup is creating eyebrows for clients who have very little natural brow hair.

This client had very sparse brows, so almost the entire brow has been recreated using fine, realistic microblading hair strokes.

Every client is different, which is why I don't believe in asking you to choose a treatment before your consultation. Instead, I'll assess your skin, your natural brows and the look you'd like to achieve, then recommend the technique that will give you the best result.

There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the confidence a new pair of brows can give someone. ✨

It's been a while, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself to all my new followers (and those who've been here for years!).

I'm Abby, and I've been specialising in permanent makeup and microblading for over 12 years.

Originally, I trained as a beauty therapist, but I fell in love with permanent makeup after seeing the difference it could make to people who had lost their natural brows through illness or medical treatment. Being able to help someone regain their confidence is something that never gets old.

Since then, permanent makeup has become my passion. I absolutely love the creativity involved and how every treatment is completely bespoke to each client. Although I still own and run Abby's Beauty Secrets alongside an incredible team of talented beauty therapists, permanent makeup is now the only treatment I personally carry out.

One thing you'll quickly learn about me is that I never stop learning. I'm always investing in advanced training and education to make sure I'm offering the latest techniques, safest procedures and the best possible results for my clients.

People often ask me what my favourite treatment is, and honestly... it changes all the time! At the moment I'm obsessed with creating beautiful permanent eyeliner, but brows will always have a special place in my heart because that's where my permanent makeup journey began.

When I'm not in the clinic, I'm usually spending time with my two children, or walking my dog, Bella. 🐶

Hi, it’s been a while… so I thought I’d reintroduce myself 👋

I’m Abby, the face behind permanent cosmetics by Abby Gordon.

I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 12 years and permanent makeup has become one of my absolute passions. From soft, natural brows to subtle lip blush enhancements, my aim is always to enhance your natural features while keeping results beautifully balanced and natural.

I don’t actually post on here very often as most of my clients come through word of mouth, which I’m incredibly grateful for. But I truly love what I do, so I’m going to make more of an effort to share some of my wonderful work and results with you.

Alongside running Abby’s Beauty Secrets and being a busy mum of two little ones, PMU is still one of my favourite treatments to perform — seeing someone’s confidence grow after their treatment is the best part of my job.
