Adding depth & dimension to the face with colour 🎨

Bronzing the perimeters of the face to shape and also along the cheekbones, jawline & tip of the nose. This will add warmth to the skin and enhance the overall complexion.

Adding a pop of Blush to the skin can make the face look more vibrant and youthful. I apply it to the apples of the cheeks & blend out & upwards, this will give a lifted effect 😉

Adding highlighter to the skin enhances certain features by creating a luminous, glowing effect. Highlighter reflects light, drawing attention to areas where it is applied, such as the tops of the cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, the brow bones, and the cupid's bow. This gives the skin a radiant, dewy appearance and helps to accentuate the bone structure, making the face look more lifted and defined. Highlighter can also create a youthful, fresh look by adding a subtle shimmer or glow to the skin ✨

And finally - going back in with my concealer brush to gently buff out any creasing that may have happened since applying it. This will ensure that when I set the skin, I’m not ‘setting’ that product into creases/fine lines.

When setting the skin, I apply powder to targeted areas such as the T-Zone - forehead, around the nose and the chin. I carefully work the powder into my brush and apply it to the skin, this way it ensures that it is evenly distributed across the skin and is so important especially on the under eye area.

After Skin Prep I like to apply Foundation & Concealer and allow them fuse together with the skincare while I work on Eyes.

This will allow time for the foundation & concealer to settle on the skin and if it gathers in any fine lines/creases, it’s easily buffed out before using any setting powder.

Key steps in skin prep include cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, and applying a primer tailored to your skin type. This routine not only enhances the look of your makeup but also promotes healthier skin overall.
