Laser, waxing or electrolysis… what’s actually the difference? 🤔

We get asked this quite a lot, and the answer is really that they all have their place!

⚡ Laser is great if you're fed up with constantly removing hair and want a longer-term reduction. It's particularly good for larger areas like legs, underarms and bikini.

🤍 Waxing is still a firm favourite. It's quick, easy and perfect if you just want to be smooth for a few weeks without committing to anything long term.

✨ Electrolysis works completely differently as we treat each individual hair. We love it for those annoying stubborn hairs, particularly on the face, and for hairs that aren't suitable for laser.

We actually quite often use a combination of treatments too. You might have laser to reduce the majority of the hair, then use electrolysis afterwards to catch those last few stubborn ones.

So there isn't really a best one — it's more about finding the right one for your hair, skin and what you're hoping to achieve.

Korean Lash Lift vs Traditional Lash Lift. What's actually the difference?

You've probably heard LOTS about Korean lash lifts recently, so here's the difference…

Traditional Lash Lift
Uses super quick lifting serums to lift the lashes from the root, giving you that gorgeous lifted lash look we all know and love — with a quicker treatment time too.

Korean Lash Lift
Uses gentler products and allows us to work with the lash right through to the tip, giving us more control over the finished curl.

It's particularly good for stubborn lashes that can be difficult to lift and gives us more scope to customise the finished result to your lashes and the look you'd like.

So, is a Korean Lash Lift better?

It can give us a better lift on some lashes and more control over the finished look. But if you already love your traditional lash lift, there's absolutely no need to change!

Traditional is quicker, still gives a beautiful result and might be exactly the look you prefer.

For this client I created a nanoblade brushed-up brow, using fine hairstrokes to create a fuller, fluffy look while still keeping the brows natural.
