Studio Bad Gal

Last week I celebrated 8 years of doing nails and being a Bad Gal girlie. I really wanted to take a cute pic to commemorate it, I really meant to 😅 but here we are a week later. Anyway. Here’s a pic of me for those who don’t know me personally off to a lovely wedding this week and a pic in Poland celebrating my first anniversary 7 years ago.
I’m very fortunate to have had a successful and busy career in these 8 years, I honestly didn’t know how long I’d end up doing nails for as my track record before was fairly short in jobs 😅
I’ve owned 2 salons, ran a team, had the team form a mutiny 🤣 that absolutely broke me to my core, and I still feel sad about years later, but I picked myself up, stripped it all back and created the life I wanted. Nails are a no.3 position in life but for a long time they were no.1 at the expense of a lot else. I’m so fortunate enough to be Rudy’s mum, a wife with the most caring husband and a very supportive family and friends circle. Absolutely no regrets (mmm, maybe!) but it all worked out.
To cut a long story short, thank you to my supporters and extremely loyal and fantastic clients, I truly love you all. To previous clients from years gone by, I miss you, but you all supported me for a long time too, so thank you too! I wouldn’t be here in my career without you all. Perth is treating me well and I’m so grateful, truly. Who knows what the future holds? I’m still capable of surprising you all yet I’m sure 🤣

Keeping it classy.
This is my lovely client Lorine, who has been coming to me for about 7 years. She threw me for a L O O P when she asked to change from her usual square nails to almond in preparation for her Bridal era 🤍
I’ve included a photo of her nails in their usual shape before- how wild the difference? And some of nails we have done in the past in our long relationship together.
I feel very lucky I have clients like Lorine!

That coral touch 🪸

My client challenged me with these! You guys find a pic and like it and ask me for it, I then sit there and think ‘how the hell did they do that?’ For example painting nail art then putting chrome on top.. usually I’d have to paint in coral, then top coat the design only then rub chrome into it, well this lovely client brought the video how to of this nail design and it told me I didn’t need to top coat the design! Meaning the design stays crisp and less bulky/bumpy. Really important for the French nails specifically. So there you go. Almost 8 years in the biz and I’m still learning as I go ☺️
