I’ve gone back and forth about sharing this.

A stroke changed my life in ways I never could have imagined. Not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and professionally too.

As a hairdresser, my hands, energy, and connection with people are everything — so being forced to slow down and focus on recovery was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced.

There were moments I felt scared, frustrated, isolated, and honestly heartbroken hearing that some people were disappointed when I couldn’t accommodate appointments while trying to recover.

But this experience also showed me the kindness that still exists in people.

To every client, friend, family and person who checked in, waited for me, supported me, or simply gave me grace during this chapter… thank you. You carried me more than you know.

Recovery hasn’t been linear, and I’m still learning to navigate this new version of life and business. But I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
