Okay but can we talk about the butter yellow & lemon bridesmaid dresses?! 💛🍋 I’ve seen so many of them this season & I’m here for it. Such a soft pop of colour that suits every skin tone & they look so good next to glowy skin ✨

August has been INSANELY busy but honestly in the best way possible…what a month 🥹 So many lovely brides, bridesmaids, sisters, mums, aunties (& of course several middle aged men asking when it’s their turn!) The morning coffees, getting ready chat… Lots (and lots) of lashes & laughter! 🤍

I feel so lucky that I get to spend my mornings making people feel their absolute best before they head off to marry their favourite person, or watch someone they love get a shiny new name; It really is the best job.

And now… onto the autumn weddings 🍂🤎 The br months are just the best. 🎃 I’m SO ready for the warmer makeup tones, glossy skin & the cosy autumn wedding morning vibes. Hair by Rebecca Chantrell Bridal makeup and hair stylist

If you sit still for long enough, I’ll find a way to convince you to have Urban Decay UK & Ireland Moondust patted onto those peepers! I just love this shadow. It’s that gorgeous barely there “wet look” shimmer that just catches the light so beautifully. 🌙

A super early start on a very warm day, but one that I’ll remember for all the right reasons 🤍

Aimee and I got on so well from the off, admittedly her INCREDIBLY cute golden retriever that came bounding over to me when she opened the door at her trial got us off to a good start! 🐶😂

But all jokes aside, one of the loveliest parts of the day was seeing just how genuinely adored Aimee is by her family and friends. Particularly fab her mum and her equally as fabulous mother in law, The love and just pure joy around her was so obvious, and it was just such a lovely thing to be around.

Such a gorgeous morning with such a lovely people, and I think we can all agree she’s an absolute diamond 🤍

Me 🤝🏻 Venues with air con. It’s a HOT one at the moment isn’t it!! Here’s some of my tips for helping makeup last through this scorcher of a summer we’re having 🌞 1. Prep well (but lightly!) Light weight moisturisers, SPFs & grippy primers are your best friend, anything super heavy is going to make your makeup slip & slide. 2. Set creams with “like for like” powders. Any foundation, blush or bronzer is going to last that extra few hours when set with a powder version of it, it doesn’t have to be heavy or caked on just a little dusting makes all the difference. 3. Blot, don’t swipe! If you get shiny or sweaty (which let’s be honest, we are!!) use some blotting paper and then add some extra powder if needed. Don’t stress if you don’t have any blotting sheets, tear a tissue in half so you’re left with a thin piece & use that. 4…& more importantly; setting spray! Spray to your hearts content & wait for it to dry ✨

Rosie’s day ✨ Firstly, can we have a moment for this bouquet?! Rosie and her lovely family actually did these themselves; which I think is just such a lovely pre wedding activity to do together if you’re wanting to DIY & get creative 🌷 This morning was SUCH A VIBE. And I ate one of the best croissants I’ve ever eaten in my life (definitely wasn’t the sole reason I enjoyed Rosie’s wedding morning…but it was up there.) & the fact I was working with my love .staniland.bridal who was on hair. So calm, so chilled & exactly how they all wanted it to be & I think we can all agree that Rosie made the most beautiful bride 🩷

Had a super chilled & lovely morning as always assisting Kate Fletcher Hair and Make Up Artist ▫️Cambridge ▫️London at THE OLD HALL ELY. Also absolutely adored this bridesmaid makeup, a good old flush of blush and a few fluttery cluster lashes to compliment the super soft wing we went for…now that’s my perfect cup of tea ☕️
