What a night! 😍

The Glow and Grow With Tebby Ladies Night Out Valentine’s Edition was so memorable.

The ladies came dressed so beautifully. We ate, drank, danced, talked, played games, and just enjoyed the night together.

It felt so good to be with my fellow moms again, relaxing and enjoying ourselves without pressure.

A big thank you to everyone who made it there. It wouldn’t have been fun without you all.

Much love to you, my ladies ❤️. We will definitely do this again, soon 🥰.

Children don’t just need a home. They need to feel like they truly belong in it.

This week marks Children’s Mental Health Week in the UK, and this year’s theme, “This Is My Place,” speaks powerfully about the importance of making children feel seen, valued, and secure.

Here are a few simple things parents can do to help their children feel seen:

1. Constantly check in on them: This matters more than we realise. Asking simple questions like, “How was your day?” or “What made you happy today?” opens the door to meaningful conversation. Even when you’re tired. Even when the answers come slowly. Those small moments help children feel noticed and important.

2. Listen without judgment: Children speak freely when they feel safe. If every story ends in blame or a harsh reaction, they eventually stop sharing. Sometimes they just want to talk. You can guide or correct later, but first, let them be done talking. This will make them feel heard.

3. Let them explore their interests: This helps them feel accepted. It’s okay not to understand why they like a certain hobby or item. As long as it isn’t harmful or inappropriate, try not to dismiss it. When a child feels supported in what they enjoy, they feel respected.

None of these require perfection. But trust me, small consistent efforts often matter more than one big gesture done once. Children may forget what you said, but they rarely forget how you made them feel.

Share this with another parent, and drop your thoughts in the comments.

Children don’t always tell us when they’re struggling they show us. 💛

Big emotions, meltdowns, withdrawal, anxiety… it’s not “bad behaviour”, it’s communication.

In this episode, we’re talking about children’s mental health and emotional well-being and how parents, carers, and educators can support children in simple, practical ways every day.

Because when we support children early, we don’t just change their childhood we shape their future.
