Loxley Barbers

On Thursday 30th April 2026 Loxley Barbers permanently closed.

This is due on going health issues and Moving house.

If you are looking for a recommendation i have been in contact with he is amazing with children with additional needs and is very good at all aspects of barbering.

I have confidence that you will find Ozzy as approachable and fun loving but less crazy than me.

Thank you to everyone that trusted me to do you and your families hair over the years,

I will miss you all

Due to on going health issues and moving house it is now time to retire.

After hairdressing for over 30 years and owning Loxley Barbers since 2009.

I will be closing the doors for the last time on Thursday 30th April 2026.

I have met so many amazing people over the years starting with one of my beautiful friends I started doing her hair 6 months after her daughter was born her daughter is now in her 30's and we life long friends 🧡

I have watched children grow into adults and wanted me to be part of their children's lives so much that I am know as Lady scissors, miss scissors, Auntie scissors and Auntie Lisa.

I have been there for your very high highs and your very low lows.
you have been there for mine as well you sent me messages of support love and kindness when I was at my mums bedside when she was so poorly they didnt know if she would survive the night and there was many of them over the seven months she was in hospital.
Not forgetting the lad I left half done when I got the call in 2002 that my dad died.
He still comes to see me,
I am going to miss every one. you are all part of my family forever.

We are retiring as such we are selling our beautiful home.
We had our garage converted into a small salon in 2023/24.
I have been working from here for nearly 2 years.
We are in a fantastic area.

If you didn't want a salon you could use the space as a dog groomers, nail/beauty salon and office space or even a self contained apartment.

So, on 15th May 2025, I have serve fibromyalgia
my legs gave way, coming down the stairs, and I fell from top to bottom, breaking my little finger on my right hand.
Today, 27th May 2025, my legs gave way again, and I have rebroken my little finger.

Living with fibromyalgia is so hard
