This was a complete eight-to-ten-week refit: old system removed, natural shed hair brushed away, hair and scalp thoroughly cleansed, then a brand-new mesh cap built completely around Amy and her needs.

And this time… we took her from blonde to BRUNETTE. 🤎

Using an Iconic Mane lace closure with a gorgeous money piece, plus 300g of flat wefts in colours 2 and Dubai, we created the richest brunette blend with the most unreal ribbons of colour.

Mesh integration is never one-size-fits-all. Every detail should be adapted to protect the client’s natural hair, keep it securely tucked away and give them the confidence to wear their new hair however they bloody want.

And I think I finally got the message.

I’ve built these businesses by being IN everything. Clients. Team. Training. Hair. Content. Problems. Ideas. Growth. All of it.

But the next stage needs a different version of me.

Very soon I’ll be dropping down to just 2 days a week with clients ✂️

Not because I’m stepping away from Iconic…

Quite the bloody opposite.

I’m stepping INTO actually being the CEO.

I want to spend more time managing, nurturing and developing my team. Making them absolute SUPERSTARS 🌟
Growing the businesses.
Building the Academy.
Creating.
Teaching.
And actually having the headspace to work ON everything I’ve built instead of permanently running around inside it 😂

And somewhere amongst all of that…

I might even learn to REST.

Wild concept. 😂

Sometimes taking a step back isn’t going backwards.

Sometimes it’s the exact thing you need to do to go even fu***ng bigger. 🚀
