Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eyelining and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids. It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of old age, disease, such as alopecia totalis, chemotherapy, or a genetic disturbance, and to disguise scars and white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo.

REMOVAL IS A JOURNEY!!!
My lovely client has been so patient throughout this process. We’ve had two removal sessions to break down the old pigment, followed by a laser session — and as you can see, the progress is looking great.
Yesterday she asked me, “Am I a good experiment for you?” 😂
Not an experiment — definitely an experience!
With pigments I’ve personally used, I have a much better idea of how they may respond to removal. But every skin and every person reacts differently.
When I’m removing brows done elsewhere, with unknown pigments, it becomes even less predictable. Different pigments, different techniques, different depths — there is simply no way to guarantee exactly how many sessions will be needed.
That’s why I believe good removal is a relationship between the client, the device and me: good consultation, testing, patience and cooperation.
Now we wait for these brows to heal beautifully before continuing the journey towards a fresh new set.

But what a summer!
I’ve been absolutely enjoying it and making the most of it. I may have taken a little break from posting, but I’ve definitely been busy behind the scenes working!

Today one of my clients took a really brave step. She was quite nervous about getting her eyebrow tattoo, but she trusted the process and did so well. We’re taking it slow and steady, and next up, we’ll be scheduling her eyeliner. So proud of her.
We absolutely love our sweet cottage, and a huge shout-out to our amazing landlord Nick—it’s always so well maintained, and he takes great care of it.
Such a peaceful environment!
Are my eyebrows irreversible?
