🙌🏼 Nearly all of us are a little bit wonky, and guess what… that’s OK!
We can aim for ‘symmetry’ when training a particular technique or when using exercises to rehab an injury but the reality is that we all have occupations, hobbies and habits that mean we may have strength dominance or flexibility differences in one side vs another.
Get yourself working together with someone who is going to observe the way you move as an individual and assess you properly as well as get you moving as safely as you can!

I always say, I’d be out of a job if all bodies were symmetrical!
Not all postures, skeletal differences, alignment, muscle tone asymmetry should be to ‘blame’ when we’re experiencing pain - our bodies tell our stories and we need to work with the body we have, not against it.
Make sure your soft tissue therapist has a desire to unlock what’s going on within your unique anatomy, who will listen to you and not let you go home thinking you’ve got something wrong with your physiology if it doesn’t represent the text book version!
