🫧Concentrating your shampoo on your ends, not your scalp. Your scalp is where your oils are produced and the grease sits. Shampoo is meant for your scalp, not your mids & ends.
🫧Rushing your wash, and missing areas of your scalp.The nape, the crown, the hairline; all areas of your scalp where your hair is growing out of NEEDS to be massaged with your shampoo.
🫧Stop skipping the second wash. The first wash removes product & oil build up, the second wash actually cleanses your scalp. Vacuum before mopping, it's the same concept.
🫧Using a shampoo that isn't right for your hair. If it's too heavy of a product, it could be leaving behind too much moisture for your hair type. Consult your stylist for a proper shampoo to fit your hair.
🫧Not rinsing properly. You need to be taking the time to make sure all of your conditioner is rinsed thoroughly or you're going to leave behind product that sits heavy on your roots.
🫧Sleeping on damp hair AND/OR airdrying. STOP doing this if you have an oily scalp
Please trust me when I say you will get longer out of your wash if you blow out your hair and move that product through your mids and ends with a brush.
