After speaking with the police they have confirmed our side of Chapel Street will be open to pedestrians again, and one side of Lavant Street will reopen to cars.

Thank you to the local businesses who kindly offered us workspaces and support while we were closed.

We’re so happy to be reopening, but we’re still thinking of the businesses who are still waiting to get back in.

Fingers crossed it won’t be much longer.

Petersfield really does have the best community ❤️

We’re really sorry to say that we won’t be able to reopen until Tuesday at the earliest, as we’re still waiting on final clearance from the building inspectors to confirm it’s safe.

If anything changes, we’ll update you right away — trust me, I’d much rather be back at work than looking after my kids at home! 😂

Police Update:

Access from our side will remain closed today. The opposite side is expected to reopen to pedestrians only from 12pm—no vehicle access.

Lavant Street will also be open to pedestrians only, with access limited to the left-hand side when heading toward the station.

A decision regarding whether we can reopen the shop tomorrow will be made between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM. We will share any updates as soon as we have them. 🤞🏼

Above all, we’re grateful that no one was injured. ❤️

Important Notice – Temporary Change to Opening Hours

Due to a fire incident last night on Lavant street, our shop will not be opening at the usual time today.

We expect to reopen by 12:00 PM once the building has been declared safe.
