☀️ HEATWAVE WAXING REMINDER ☀️

With the temperatures soaring, I wanted to share a few important reminders if you have a waxing appointment booked over the coming days.

❄️ First things first… don’t worry about melting! My treatment cabin is fully air conditioned, so you’ll be nice and comfortable during your appointment.

🌞 Please make sure you’re following all pre-care advice, especially limiting sun exposure for at least 48 hours before your waxing appointment.

Why is this important?

☀️ Sun exposed skin is often more sensitive and vulnerable.
☀️ Waxing skin that has been exposed to intense sun can increase the risk of irritation, lifting, bruising and discomfort.
☀️ If skin is sunburnt, waxing can cause further damage and may remove layers of already compromised skin.

For your safety, I will NOT wax skin that is sunburnt or has had excessive recent sun exposure.

⏰ If you’re booked in later in the day and would prefer an earlier appointment to avoid the hottest part of the day, please send me a message. I can’t guarantee availability, but I’ll do my very best to move your appointment where possible.

You can either choose to shave 🪒 or choose to wax 🍯 but you can’t do both!

If you choose to have a wax and then shave in between, you are resetting your growth cycle and we have to then start all over again.

Waxing requires consistency with no other method of hair removal in between to get the best results.

If you choose to wax stick with it your hair will thank you and so will I 😊
