Ok, so this has been a PROCESS! And that is an understatement 😂⁣
My client had years of dark box dye and wanted to go lighter. I gave her strict instructions of what shampoo, conditioner and treatments to use at home and lots of regular trims to make sure that her hair could take being lightened. ⁣
And this is the result after just 2 lightening sessions! ⁣

Not all shampoos are created equal!

I cannot recommend Color Wow shampoo enough!

Here’s why:
Firstly, shampoos should only ever do 1 job…CLEAN YOUR HAIR
As an example, shampoos that claim to give you things like volume need to leave something behind to do the job that they are claiming to do.
Over time, this builds as a residue in our hair making it lank, greasy, dull and can fade our colour. This shampoo does 1 job, it cleans your hair!! It is sulfate, paraben and residue free,to name a few, and is a game changer.

Secondly, i have used professional shampoos for years and years. I used to religiously wash my hair every other day, the second day was always normally a hair up day. However after switching to Color Wow shampoo and conditioner, I can now go 3 days easily, and normally a 4th hair up day too! Yes, professional shampoo and conditioners are more expensive then the supermarket brands, but the reason is because THEY WORK! They are superior in every way, and your hair will thank you for it 🥰

A good chop can make such a difference! 🔥

The Studio is 6 months old!

6 months ago I took the leap and opened my very own salon! I was so nervous that I wouldn’t be busy and I wouldn’t be able to go it alone, however, if I had known then how amazing these 6 months have been, I wouldn’t have worried at all!

So, this was a TASK! 4 hours to be exact. ⁣
The ‘before’ pic doesn’t show just how badly banded this colour was, lots of dark, red and purple box colours meant this was a challenge! (The before was not my work) ⁣
⁣
However, with the help of Olaplex and my new airtouch technique, we managed to lift that dark band out and create this much softer, beautiful colour. ⁣
⁣
This will be a process for sure, the goal will be to lift out all that warmth for a lived in, natural, balayaged look. But it will take multiple sessions to achieve this. 💚⁣
