It’s a sentence I hear far too often from my mature brides.

Before I even pick up a makeup brush, I want to know how you feel about your skin. What’s changed, what you’re conscious of, what you normally wear, what you’re worried makeup might emphasise, and most importantly — how you want to feel when you look in the mirror on your wedding morning.

Mature skin doesn’t need more makeup. It needs the right makeup, application technique, the right skin preparation and an artist who understands it.

My previews are a safe space to talk openly about those concerns. There’s no embarrassment in telling me you’re worried about your lines, your skin texture, your eyes or that you simply don’t feel as confident as you once did. I need to know those things so I can tailor your makeup to you.
