From 1st Feb, there will be a slight price increase of £25 to all SPMU. I’ve kept my prices low, to make PMU available to more clients, and while I built up my confidence. But my price as it is, does definitely not reflect my skill now, as it once did. Plus the cost of pigments, cartridges etc, have never been cheap and like everything else they are rising. Hope all my clients understand. 🙏🏽

💔 A Little Honest Chat from the Salon Girls 💔

We weren’t sure whether to post this, but it’s something that really needs saying…

In October alone, as a team, we lost over £1400 because of 22 appointments that were cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours — most of them within just 4 hours, and several were no-shows where no one turned up at all.

Now, to some people that might not sound like much… but for us, it’s huge. Every single one of us here is self-employed — which means if a client doesn’t come, we don’t get paid. There’s no wage, no safety net, no backup plan. Just hours we can’t get back and income we rely on to pay our bills, our rent, our childcare, and to keep doing what we love.

We completely understand that life happens — things come up, people get sick, emergencies happen. But when appointments are cancelled last-minute or clients don’t show, it really does hurt us personally and professionally.

Please remember:
💬 A quick message if you can’t make it means the world.
💅 Cancellations within 48 hours often can’t be re-filled.
💖 Deposits and policies aren’t there to be harsh — they’re there to protect us from losses like this.

We love our jobs, our clients, and this little salon family we’ve built. We’re so grateful for every person who shows up, respects our time, and supports small, self-employed businesses like ours.

Because of this we will be implementing a booking fee/upfront payment for clients who have cancelled/no showed more than once within a 48 hour period of a scheduled appointment.
