Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin protein produced by the Clostridium botulinum bacterium that causes paralysis by blocking muscle contractions

Muscle relaxation: The botulinum toxin works by blocking nerve signals to the muscles where it is injected. This temporarily paralyzes or freezes the muscle, preventing it from contracting.
