The boys came away with a hard-fought 3–2 victory this weekend! 💪⚽

💜 STOMA AWARE DAY 💜

This Saturday 3rd October is Stoma Aware Day, and we wanted to take the opportunity to share a little more about stomas and help break down some of the myths and misconceptions surrounding them.

One of our owners, Hannah, has lived with a permanent stoma for the past 6 years. After being diagnosed with Crohn’s and colitis at just 8 years old, Hannah experienced multiple temporary stomas and different treatments before eventually making the decision, with the support of her hospital team, to have a permanent stoma.

Having a stoma is just one part of someone’s story — it doesn’t stop them from living a full, active and completely normal life. 💜

We hope this post helps spread a little awareness, understanding and positivity around something that many people know very little about.

Let’s keep talking, keep learning and keep breaking the stigma. 💜
